Emile Salmon-Legagneur I didn’t agree with their answer either. There is vision on dragon. They could take herald, dive with Alistar and Malphite and then siege since Ashe is fed. They could send Kayn to solo drag while they siege too.
I thought bork was bought to counter tanks because it does % hp dmg meaning it does much less against squish targets e.g twitch, Lucian, jayce. blitz generally doesn't buy a lot of hp.
would it not be better going crit build?
I managed to get each one right...! Including the trick question. x)
Thank you for helping me think like a pro! Wouldn't have been here if I hadn't found you guys and adopted your thinking style.
@Emile Salmon-Legagneur drake was up so no, even if they didn't get it I would get mad if my not goes top on drake timing. Worst rotate.
I really like this style of video and I had a fairly good plan about the whole game and decisionmaking.
However since you want to teach us I'd personally prefer it if you don't do trick-questions or likewise. At first I thought "Wait why would he ever go mid?!" but then decided to just go along. It's rather frustrating than teaching

Play safe, play to keep your fed teammate fed, dont try solo stealing drag when the enemy has all 5 on it and you are 0/8/0. Dont push ahead in lanes without vision but try to push lanes and establish vision around objectives as you can.

so funny that he says everytime: unfortunately his team dies here. This is so true in Plat elo it's crazy. It feels like you can never leave your team "alone" for 2 minutes or else they feed, especially as a jungler xD
Yep. I feel you. The drag for soul is about to spawn in 30 secs and for some reason ur mid and top decide to 2v5 giving them the soul or stopping ur team of getting it.

I really enjoy these question-format videos. Help facilitate thinking instead of just blind copying a strat! Appreciate it!
5:17 if you've played enought games with 0/5 teammates while you're fed, you know you HAVE to SPAM ping to not fight without you
I was playing in a game where 2 teammates got picked off mid and enemy started sieging second mid turret. Instead of going to help I kept split pushing toplane, and I actually got all 3 turrets and inhibitor and we didn't even lose the inhibitor, with my team actually randomly defending it after respawns. Really cool how it works, although it requires some ignoring of teammate pings and flames.
Im calling BS Hector wouldn't have pushed up to the tier two with everyone missing on the map no vision if he has been playing in his own elo
Right? no high elo match would allow a lone ADC to push to tier 2 tower
that's exactly what i was thinking. Especially in lower elo since they are thursty for them kills :)
well these vids are used to help low elos so it works i guess
@@falsealarm747 no it doesnt that adc pushing down a tier 2 tower alone is like the most free kill for the enemy team even the lowest elo assasin would know he should totally get that kill

Can you do more vids like this? I feel this was a really good learning experience
This is my favorite series!
These were my answers to the questions you answered, and these are usually the thoughts that go through my head as I try to drag myself out of bronze lul:
1:20 question: mid to pressure, bot to defend/catch the wave, dragon to contest
2:08: recall to _reset_ since mid is likely gone, or continue shoving the wave while you can see their whole team then skedaddle once you can't see them anymore
3:25: i don't have a big understanding of macro/micro just yet, so i guessed macro lol
4:43: i feel like usually you only go to a lane after rift herald if you can immediately take the tower, but the safer option is typically just recall
7:35: there was no one on the map, and with a twitch that just screams the whole team is comin for you lol he overstayed
This was kinda fun comparing my thoughts vs your guide, and I can be satisfied knowing I at least have a good mindset for climbing, now I just need to practice more.
This is a great template for an educational video, hope to see more in the future. Keep it up!
Heres what I learned, in low elo play for yourself, never for the team.
This really doesnt apply if you are low elo yourself
@@emilianowiiland then again you need to be better than your current elo to actually climb
Actually you play against the map positioning and do alot more attrition than at higher levels. E.g. Crossplay.

I seriously suck at carrying
Another major thing in Solo Q is when 1 person is fed and in base the 4 others play fights as if their team is ahead, even though locally thos particular 4 champions are behind the enemy 4 champions they are fighting.
In the trick question i thought recall and go mid but if I was actually playing I wouldve pushed as i got no map awareness that enemy is pushing, then get tower and get collapsed on.

Hector: *exists
SkillCapped Team: You're going to Elohell
Hector: Being Hector is suffering!
the first question i saw malph going top and kayn clearing top side jung and ashe had already got bot tower so i would have pinged rift, rushed it with malphite, kayn and myself (Ashe) then hard shoved top with malph, kayn and rift. after we got the top tower i assume at least 2 people would roam up to deff (hopefully one of which being the jungler) so i would ping for malph and kayn to roam mid shove the wave into tower and then go get drake after which reset as we have essentially just gotten 4 objectives in a very short amount of time meaning a large amount of gold. after the reset drake isnt up, neither is rift, top and bots 1st tier towers are gone and ashe, malph and kayn have a good item lead due to that large gold amount they just got so i would try and all 5 mid and take that first tier tower mid as they will find it hard to win a fight contesting the tower when we have such a large lead. after that i would try and snowball my gold and objective lead by shoving lanes in when objectives are coming up so they have to deff and then rushing drakes and rifts/barons as the shoved in lanes will force at least 1 person to deff and if we have been farming right we still have a gold lead so if they took a 4v5 to contest they would lose 90% of the time. this is what i personally would do however i have had games where even with all this we lose so pls let me know what about this plan of action is wrong?
You guys help me so much man 😃 now I need to learn how to turn on my brain in game
Can you please tell me what should i do when the ennemy freeze in his tower ? and what to do when my team perma die and ty
Does this also apply to jungle kindred? (Mostly the farming top wave part, and the bot splitpush) And do vision control and objective timers play a bigger role as a jgl marksman? (Ex. 1:19 Lets say Drake wouldn't be up, but Herald would and all your camps were alive. (Including buffs). What is the correct play in this situation as fed jgl kindred? (Not accounting for any marks))
Playing lol turned to be a probision and expert. This takes so mudh time to learn and master
Wasn't the right call Kayn to use the rift herald top and Ashe and Alistar to siege mid?
I have question that i've been struggeling of my own. So what to i do in case of when enemies send one memeber to def bot, shoudl i stay or use advantage and roam prob mid to fight 4vs 5? That is when i decide to push solo for turrets.
5:33 You talk about low elo.But in a competitive game or a challenger game the correct thing to do was going mid and use herald right?
I think the four of his teammates would not lose in the fight
I think even in competitive game or a challenger the correct play is still do that because the position make his team can't lose (yea these plat guys just sucks) and even if they all go top to kill him they're just trade their tower (potentially 2 because his team got herald) for just a shutdown which is not a good trade at all
well he said its, thats not how you snowball in low elo, but the elo doesnt really matter. Thats how to snowball. even more important in high elo, as every little snowball opportunity missed could be a comeback opportunity for the enemy team to use.
So in the 7:20 situation, would it be ok for hector to stay if syndra and kayn were pressuring mid or bot? Is it worth to force 4 to 5 enemy members on one lane and die to let your team members take towers?
Sold botrk for TF at the end. I assume for the added utility since he had ls with deathdance?
Can you do this but for jungle? It would help a lot.
Would this works with Midland mages like ziggs? He is bad 1 v 1 but how would you get farm without sharing?
I main ahri in d3 eune. In the games i play well i have very few deaths. Usually 1-3. The issue is how to do enough in teamfights to the enemy kog/lulu or vayne/lulu. I´ve played against both the past 2 days and i find it so difficult to do stuff in teamfights to them. What should i do? I cant burst through lulu shields and killing frontline is pointless in those scenarios.
What’s the new patch build for Ashe?
What if ur mid? Or top?
Can u make a video for that?
so I kind of got all questions right. the ones I got wrong were just me mis interpreting the vague questions. Currently returning from a half year break, I'm going through placements in iron and I cannot carry no matter how fed I get. they don't place any wards and just aram. never go to a side lane. always chase into no vision... like what do you do when someone keeps mirroring you on the map while team runs it down
However, if you get advantage with adc and split in 2:20, most of the time your low elo mid and sup will not give up the mid tower and die together with the turret. Then, the enemy saw you split pushing top, so they continue to push mid and you will lose both turrets. After all, due to the inherent level advantage of their solo laner, they can kill you easily in the mid-game. low elo player just don't know when to back up, they will still take the fight even when they are in a disadvantage. Any suggestion on that?
does this apply to junglers as well?
I saw this video, picked Ashe and carried a game. It was not ranked nor above silver/gold elo, but I felt my macro was very good. Thanks guys!
skill capped: just keep farming

whats the reasoning behind him building firecannon after runaans ?
What's up with the triforce and deaths dance?
Yesterday, I decided to put pressure in my lane instead of going to a lost team fight by a tower that was about to fall anyway. Top went afk 10 seconds later.
u gotta remember that optimal play isnt always optimal since sometimes you have to play a mental safety manager and make plays that satisfy your team even if they are less profitable on paper
Riko Martin would you rather go teamfight every minute just to satisfy the team or farm and get obj. towers?
@@jamesm4957 depends on ur team mental obviously, if u have people bout to rq it's better to join aram mode, especially if u are ahead and can carry teamfights, u might get less objectives albeit u obviously lose less if ur team is bout to int
@@fkutw4tt3rtub3 like, you have to min max value.
If your play turns into a situation that you can basically 4v5 from, than you do it anyway as it doesnt matter if top went afk 10 seconds later.
Pls do this deep analysis for jungle
I have only one question are you Ashe in this play through?
2:40 yeah but when ever just do that and finish taking tower there entire team colapses on me and either oneshots me or chases me to oblivian
He is aware of where the enemy team is. He's got plenty of vision and his E as well. Alistar is pathing bot and because he's fed, every enemy is reluctant to make the first move and walk bot instantly. Nobody can 1v1 him. Someone on the enemy team has to ping that they're going for ashe. That way they might follow, but i doubt it since they just had a fight mid and probably just wanna back. You should be aware of all these things when trying to make such a play.
Why did Hector build RFC over Infinity Edge in this game?
1:18 lets be honest here going bottom isn't the right call i think. What you would in this sittuation is pinging the the syndra to go bottom and clear out the wave while he and bliz push out mid with kayn waiting near by and clearing vision at either drake or herald (pref. drake since the soul is still more valuable) if he would have done that there would have been a chance for him to either contest drake or at least get some dmg on mid turret and chicken camp him going bottom is loosing tempo on the map since he is fed and wants to use this now to get more pressure on objectives and force the enemies to react (side note the vision to bot is really good so it is more unlikely for syndra to get picked again)
Yeah, I would've swapped with the top laner since he was clearly struggling. You also get herald pressure.
overextending at 3:45 is a macro mistake since theres 5 mia
singed has barrier and ghost not flash
and so much more actually disturbing
I need more Videos like this !
7:35 lmao the Alistar really said “You guys having a picknic?” xDDDD
Tbh i would have gone mid not for the snowball but for the map taking 2 towers in mid its huge and you can win if they throw cause the distance in mid its rly low
This is so useful!
The river question after the herald: i would have stayed cause i see three enemies in a bunch and two more in mid, i understand that the three are probably gonna cut the team apart, leaving half and half and killing both .
yeah i agree...
he should team-up, coz he'z already fed and teamfight with a fed character will be easy... plus with a tempo of Herald push...
it'z better to be protected by 3 more teammates rather to be protected by only one Alistar...
I would've done the same
the correct answer was clearly go mid, use herald and get TWO towers not just one, they could even get a hit on the inib tower (third one is only possible because it's low elo) because it opens the map way more and since they have syndra, ashe arrow and malphite ult it's free facecheck kills when they threaten baron ...
@@ryohei9027 Yeah Twitch just died and Singed is on the other side of the pit from his team. It was fairly obvious that his team would go for the fight. If hector had helped, he could have gotten a takedown or two nd then have extra tim e to get the top tower.
I think a bad call everyone follows is better than a good call nobody follows
can i improve 5 divisions in 5 month if im diamond 1?
Could I ask the reasoning behind rfc third item? Wouldnt he be way better off with either ER or IE? I usually go Bork into ER then Hurricane because with Lethal Tempo and Bork I feel I get enought AS that I rather want some oompf behind them which I get with ER + as ashe you kinda already have decent waveclear with your W. ER also gives you mana back and cdr for even more w and shorter ult cds.
And ofc I go Hurricane straight after the Bork/ER cause I know its bonkers with her q. I just feel like needing some more ad to buff up w and aa's before which is why I get it third.
One for midlane assassins pls
what's the difference between micro and macro? rlly confused :0
About crossmapping and baron.
I guess sometimes it is good to trade inhibitor and baron.
Like, your teammates died and you can't contest baron, off course you should push your waves just to reduce the damage from the baron buff. Stretch the time.
I played some games where I was on the baron side of this decision(I'm low elo), my team almost aced, went to baron, took a lot of time to kill it.
While everyone is in baron, the opponent is taking inhibitor. He gets the open base and inhibitor and sometimes we can't compensate that with the baron buff.
I guess there should always be one champion defending and the rest finishes baron.
Sometimes it is difficult if you have 2 or 3 champs and 2 sources of damage.
1:50 poor cow just wants to last hit that cannon and share the gold XD
I'd say that at 3:40 it was a micro-mistake, but more pathing related. There's no reason for him to path through the jungle near blitzcrank there, he should've just backed off
Could you guys make a video like "How to protect the carry being the support"? I mainly play this roll and sometimes it feels like no matter what I do
well.
look at the enemy team, look what can kill or annoy your adc, do whatever you can so it doesnt annoy or kill them anymore.
Tanks should get cc'd before they reach your damage dealer.
Assasins should be cc'd inside your team (so near your adc, but just out of reach or out of oppurtunities to damage your carry)
Shields for main damage threads, and spammable heals for sustain.
the same is with kill supporter like pyke.
just instead of cc'ing just kill them.
Surprisingly enough I actually got most of these answers correct. Hmmm I'm not surprised by this tbh. My macro is really the only thing that keeps me climbing my mechanics are usually pretty questionable XD. I've been working on mastering kat and diana so maybe it will make up for my lack of mechanical prowess.
im a Adc main in gold 1 and Im safe to say Im hardcore stuck... As a adc main it very hard to carry teammates when they have no idea how to pick teamfights. While watching this I've seen some stuff I should do, let see if I can get out of this elo
I dont play carries but at that trick question I was like why do u want him to go mid anyway either from bot or base.
You can carry even if you don't play carries...
Go to herald and go top to take 2 turrets and force the outnumbered enemy team into a fight topside would have been another good option
I will sign up for now. I just want to improve
Very Helpfull !!!
Everyone in solo q constantly does the hindsight thing. Every time a decision is made that is correct at the time but the team dies faster than you can anticipate it's your fault. Every time the jungler seems to be close but decides to suddenly turn direction after you commit to a fight. Every time your team is 4v3 and you splitpush and team loses its your fault for not helping the teamfight.
Do one for jungle please
Can we have one of these for mid please? xP
I hace a question:
Does this apply only in sólo q or also in competitive when you are playing in a tournament?
I mean some things I thinl is pretty obvious that it is in bought escenarios like trying to take an objective when the other team is going to take one, but all of it are right in bough cases?
How can I hard carry with juggernauts, especially Morde? Is it any different in terms of teamfights?
@Min-Sung Ko just gained 15 lp from this tysm!!!!!!!!!!!111111
Just point click ult the enemy support and pray your team doesn't die in the 4 v 4.
Try to poke with ur E and Q and as one guy already mentioned try to stay behind your carries
As juggernauts like morde and darius when you get a lead and become strong relative to the map you can start drawing huge ammounts of side lane pressure because you can potentially come out on top against 1v2 or 1v3 scenarios or take towers quickly, so if splitpushing is viable in those games you absolutely should be doing so while warding the enemy jungle around you as it also gives your team room to play the game
Build ninja tabis seekers and proceed to one shot the enemy adc
In fairness if you pause this video at 4:15 you can see enemy team are ahead, with multiple having bounties on them etc, and malph really behind Singed etc.
You should do things like this with other roles
Okay my macro and Micro is on Point why i still cant leave Plat iv ?
I genuinely got all of these right. Does this mean I can analyze my own VODs and just improve off of that?
@Copyrighted Tree Yes Well I'm now more aware of my macro while I'm playing and it is starting to seem promising. I now have a feel of direction in all my games which I never had before. I think even making basic macro decisions is something most players can't do.
Why no jungle guides?
3:20 it was both. After getting bot tower and with dragon off the map the next big objective is top tower / herald. When your team is not putting preasure anywhere on the map since they just respawned and the enemy just recalled there is actually no reason to stay.
Even if they kill maybe 2 and die again the rest the bounty might land on a carry. Also respawn timers are still so low that they would never actually preasure the bot inhib tower. Another reason to not stay there.
4:50 how about using your Hawk Shot to get the information to make an educated decision? There is just no excuse to not use Hawk Shot there. So yes you could see that there is a threat of a teamfight when you see the rest of the enemy team just running at your mates if he would have used his ability.
funny that i found dmistakes in his logic sometimes
Yeah and a lot here contradicts with what was taught in earlier videos. Often what they teach is in line with "while splitting here for two turrets might be the ideal play, you should never trust your low ELO team, so go mid with them to secure at least one turret" and now suddenly it's all "Hector definitely made the correct play splitting, his team shouldn't have died there" like wtf which is it, suddenly it's correct play for challenger to trust his plat team??
@@MahiKoodaa well when he win, every shit things he've done are all correct xD xD hahahah. It's so easy to comment to a replay game
@@MahiKoodaa His team had the number advantage so shouldn't have had problems
@@MahiKoodaa With all due respect. I hate that logic, but I agree with it.
I used to play ADC and tried to climb from elo hell.
Always made the path where maximizes gold and exp for my team, so I was always farming sidelanes when everyone else were doing full ARAM on mid.
Getting everyone on one lane might be good to take a tower quickly, but staying there is inefficient because they share the gold/exp.
Anyway, too many games my teams advanced outnumbered, died in a 4v5 where they should clearly just be under tower and let our team slowly outgrow theirs. They could defend that tower with 4 guys. But any small opportunity for engage is enough so they buy a fight they can't win, out of the tower's range.
Anyway, no matter how much farm I got, since there is a lot of kills and TFs, there was always someone on the other team that got super fed and we lost it.
My team gave so much gold I couldn't impact the game solely on farm.
Even though I prefered to go sidelane to get more gold for my team, I started going on every TF because, that way, we would make TFs with one more source of damage, get some wins and the result of TFs would impact the whole game.
Like, you can test if your team know how to defend and not engage on a 4v5 while you are sidelane. If they do it one time, you might have to shift your strategy and help them out on TFs. Or else you are going to lose from the reasons I tried to point out.
So yeah, if your team is "low elo" and you don't trust them to do the right calls, you have to put this in consideration. It is better to secure one tower mid than go sidelane. If you trust your team a little bit more, you can make pressure on more than one lane and I guess it is better(if your team don't miserably dies without you)
nice vid btw, i just wanted to ask.. when (as jungler) i sohuld push the lane (for example top) and where i shouldn't?
Have a nice Day! :D
For iron/silver/gold: NEVER. Your teammates will ping and flame you cause you are "stealing my farm" and probably will go afk or inting mode to punish you.
Platinum: Do it only if your teammates request your help for pushing. Otherwise, they will ping and flame you cause "you ruined my lane" and for sure will go inting mode or trolling stealing your entire jungle till the game ends.
Yeah. I love playing jungle in platinum.

**OvERaTED**
Early af! I hope this video helps to get me out of ChaLLEngeR D;
Great... That one trick question about defending mid has me all embarrassed... Lol
@5:40 I don't agree that going top is the right one. (My own opinion, excuse everyone.) An no dash adc (Kog, twitch, ashe) is required ALWAYS to be with the team. This is for 2 things, #1, in case a fight breaks, he's there as the damage dealer and #2, he will get protection in case of ganks.
Also since mid tower is up, I believe the proper play should be take herald, get mid tower. That way, with both Tier 1 mid + tier 1 bot gone, they have a priority with Dragon. If you have bot tower down and top tower down, the objectives are still not secured. Mid tower + side tower gives you more edge on objective priorities since the opponent needs to defend farther (tier 2 towers) before going with objectives. This also gets you the advantage to push vision.
Side note, if he's a split pusher (trynda, jax or my main Yorick) the correct would be going top. Pushing through sidelanes is your job and since dragon is also up, it gives your opponent a hard choice, go top and defend tier 1 or go def mid with herald then dragon?
