  • Quick video showing the 65 gallon used aquarium that I purchased. Couple of ideas on how to clean it out and check for leaks. Also did some minor repairs to a couple for chips in the corner and put on some protective sleeves to hopefully mitigate any future chips.
Used - Lepage Stik N Seal aquarium safe (Canada) Loctite in the US

I literally just threw away my bow front tank. Because it had a dime sized chip under the seal, at the corner. I personally wouldn't take the risk..i hope you do a follow up so we can see if your repair held

The border protectors are more preventative to keep from further chipping

How well did it last with those chips? The one I just got has one and I'm nervous it won't be okay long-term....

@Lisa Foster Lepage stik n seal... biggest thing imo is to take your time, make sure it dries/sets and do a good leak test outside or somewhere you won't cause too much damage... a leaky/cracked/chipped tank is hard to trust 😁

@@richardlalonde3272 Sooo it took me a few minutes but it turns out LePage and Loctite are the same company...might add that to your video notes so your US viewers can find it. :) Here's hoping!
