Could not agree more with you and this video, I really hope they Buck their ideas up and listen to the fans, real blade fans who grew up with this character could write a blade movie in a week or 2, 3 at most. WTF IS GOING ON!?!

'Just make a blade movie' is kind of exactly why we've had a bunch of mediocre MCU films.
'Just make blade' isn't as easy as it might come off. Scriptwriting isn't some thing where you just make it about a character and it'll magically somehow be good. Look at how Blade Trinity ended up.
My man, I'd rather they keep delaying this film / TV show and or cancel it altogether than give us a sub par outing of it. They only really get one shot at this.
Otherwise the MCU is stuck in a 'damned if they do, damned if they don't' sort of situation because of opinions like this.
Just bring Guillermo Del Toro back on board. If it's not R-Rated then they should just leave it.
I think the problem was that they didn’t care if the movies weren’t critically acclaimed as long as the box office was good it didn’t matter but I think with quantumania and the marvels both being panned critically and flopping they realised people weren’t even going to see there movies so I’m hoping with all the delays that there trying to make the best possible movie

Blade was always doomed because it was total shit in the comics. People don't want to admit it but...Wesley Snipes was a great Star for a solid period of time. White Men Can't Jump, Demolition Man, New Jack City...any one of those was 3x the buzz over any M.Ali film. Say *He is too good an actor*, *he is an artist* if it makes the pill go down but he has no tentpole draw track record and middling big movie draw.

Don't think muhasharala would be a great blade. He doesn't have the charisma Wesley snipes had. Blade needs charisma and appeal.
I think the real problem is Marvel doesn't know how to explain the supernatural in the MCU.
