Dark Knight Rises is one of the best cinematographic pieces to me along with TDK. It just LOOKS grimy and rough to go along with Bane’s character. Nolan is really a legend.

It’s hard too choose, the 3 movies are absoloute masterpieces but i choose batman begins because it’s a great introduction to the character and the story behind batman is incredible, i absolutely love cillian murphy and liam neeson in this movie. An absolute masterpiece

Without a doubt The Dark Knight is not only the best in the trilogy, I also believe it is Nolan’s magnum opus. I was a kid when these movies came out and it really established my love for comic book characters and mostly of all, cinema.

It’s hard to pick out which dark knight film is my fav. All of the films have a great script and very glorious shots, but in the end I think it comes down to which film has that vibe of remembrance and call backs. Yes batman begins is a terrifically shot and written film but it is always left out of the picture sometimes. The dark knight is one of the greatest films as you said and it is such an epic sequel to batman begins, not just because of the role of joker but because it’s aesthetic of a film. Whenever people think batman they think The dark knight. The dark knight rises is a masterpiece conclusion to Christopher Nolan’s dark knight saga. The dark knight rises I think is not heavily forgotten about but I think heavily criticized for the way it is. But when looking at dark knight rises as a conclusion to batman it is just a masterpiece with showing the end of batman and just the beginning of Bruce Wayne’s new life. When it comes down to it I think The Dark Knight is probably my fav. I just think that it has one of the greatest opening scenes that introduces the villain and one of the greatest storyline/script. Without a doubt The Dark Knight is my favorite

Personally, I have to say that what doesn't make sense about Batman making it back to Gotham in this movie is that he's broke. When he came back in Begins, I called Alfred who picked him up. I guess it's believable that he had a nest egg somewhere. If so, they did a great job of hiding it
Well my guess is he probably has a few stashes of hard cash around the world that he set up for emergency

Gotta say I think Dark Knight is the best one, but not because of Bale. I think that Heath Ledger's joker was a perfect version of the joker, and when Harvey dent is involved and you think that "oh he's probably going to be a villain in the next movie if they make one" but turns out he becomes involved near the 3rd act of the movie. Just an amazing movie aswell.
This was the ultimate realization of the superhero movie. Instead of trying to compete with this trilogy, the subsequent ones tend to just be relatively silly Power Rangers stories with big budgets.

My Favorite is Batman Begins. The best origin story for Batman and I think Liam Neeson’s Ra’s Al Ghul is just as iconic as Heath Ledger’s Joker and Tom Hardy’s Bane.

Nolan is my favorite current director. It can be topped as a trilogy. It never was the best trilogy. For me it ranks 3rd behind Star Wars and LOTR. And I'm a guy who LOVES TDKR almost as much as TDK. I even think it can be topped as a Batman trilogy. The first half of The Batman is the best BATMAN movie ever. Even though the second half lets it down the existence of that first half proves it is possible.
I never knew Batman would be that great until I watched Gotham series...

So Batman the unmovable object and Harvey Dent (Two Face) was the unstoppable force. In the end, they kill each other. Dent dies and Batman is no longer the symbol of hope. I’ve never thought that way.
Correct! So Bruce has Batman take the blame so that Harvey can the symbol of hope in death, which Bane exposes in Rises
I did the same with the new plant of the apes movies when War come out my dad and I did a double showing of rise, dawn then war at midnight but it was two days before it come out when Cinemark did it

I do like the tactical version of alfred in the modern comics. But Micheal cain is go great in these movies. And Gary oldman is fantastic too. These movies are masterpieces and dark knight rises is underrated yea there is some corny stuff in it but it works so well as a final chapter

Dark knight, one of my favorite movies with a great cast and fantastic performances by Heath and Bale will go down as one of if not the best comic book movies of all time.
Great episode. The dark knight is defiantly in my top five. The only thing that kinda bugs me about dark knight rises is how he got away from the bomb at the end. I get he fixed the auto pilot but still they show him flying it for quite awhile.

Is there any question that The Dark Knight is the best out of all of them? It's easily my favourite but my favourite scenes of the entire trilogy is in The Dark Knight Rises where Bruce climbs out of the Pit and when he get's the Nuke out of the City and one of the kids yells out: "No... Thats Batman!!!"

After 14 yrs and going back to Bales portrayal of Batman, I have to put Pattersons Batman above but Bales Bruce Wayne is better. Best Bruce Wayne goes to Affleck (feels more like Bruce from the Animated series)
