we definitely need more shows like this where the main couple are gay but whole plot doesn’t revolve around them being a gay couple and dealing with their sexuality but something else like straight couples, *cough* heartstopper *cough*

I saw an interview with the cast and they explained that legacy vampires (aka vampires that are born vampires, not turned) can age (the actress saud they age but still live forever so I guess they just age very very slowly compared to humans), can see their reflection in mirrors and be outside in the sun. So basically the only ones who can't do all that and get stuck in the same age are only the ones who got turned into vampires rather than being born a vampire.
