Another amazing video! The views were beautiful and that little town of Molinaseca looks wonderful even in the rain... Thanks for sharing !

You are too kind. The walk was indeed beautiful and Molinaseca was a very nice town. I just wish it had been sunny and we could have swam in the stream. Oh well, still memorable. Buen Camino!

Watching your video I remembered that my stage was also rainy, thunderous and even had hail. But that is the Camino, challenging one to overcome whatever lies in front of you and the goal to reach Santiago! You are blessed to be sharing this wonderful experience at this stage of your lives. Buen camino to you both!

Wow! Rain, lightning and hail would have made that a really tough day! But I bet it's something you will always remember. Thanks for watching, and Buen Camino.

I get the feeling that your pace has sped up at the same time as the terrain and weather have become more tricky. What a lovely memento of your trip these videos are!

Well we definitely walked fairly fast during each day, but we maxed out at around 25 km in distance. Thankfully we did not have any falls or twisted ankles in the rain and mud. Thanks for watching and Buen Camino!

B - again, well made and edited video. I always love your landscape shots, esp. the purple plants against the blue skies. Very unreal! And your shortcut vs the mud on the road - that was hilarious! At 6:19 - love the focus on the shoes! The stone marker was definitely dramatic, and I hope to find it when I get there. Cold beer for a Euro! Thats amazing. But a blister in the end ... ugh that's tough bro. Thanks for the food pics, I always love those. Buen Camino!

Thanks as always for watching and commenting. I don't know if our Canadian rock will be at the Cruz next year - we heard they "tidy things up" a bit at the end of every season. Take care, and Buen Camino!

It was one of the hardest walks on the Camino. However, climbing the Cruz de Ferro was spiritually uplifting. 😢 It's amazing that after climbing the cross, your aches and pains just disappear. However, it was not the end of the story for that day. Going down the big slabs of stones makes you wonder why you are still walking and not taking the auto bus. 😂
We stayed at the Way Hotel also but did not bump into each other. The owner told us that we have a special room downstairs. It was a very nice room indeed. What makes us special is that we have 2 big suitcases and he does not want to carry it upstairs.
Next year, we hope we can stay there again. The restaurant across the street was very nice and the food was delicious!
    Buen Camino!

We totally agree - the trail after the Cruz de Ferro made us seriously question our life choices. 😂 I did not realize you stayed at The Way Hostel. It was always uplifting to see your suitcases waiting at the front door when we happened to stay at the same place. However I would not have wanted to carry them either. Still so impressed that you're doing the Camino again next year - you guys are an inspiration! Buen Camino!

Las mejores épocas para realizar el camino son los meses de mayo y septiembre

Someday I would like to do it in September. I imagine seeing the early fall and harvest season would be a different experience.

How is it finding a bed for the night. Sounds like was pretty busy this year? Really enjoying your videos 🌸

After the first few days we started booking about 4 days in advance on Booking.com, and for the most part we found accommodations without too many problems. In some cases we had to make our days a bit longer or shorter, but that was ok. Thanks for watching, and Buen Camino!
