I currently own 2 Lexus for a good reason. My GS with inline 6 has over 230k with had no problems throughout 12 years of ownership, which led us to buy another Lexus, an RX450h, for it being such a dependable machine. Buy a Lexus or Toyota, and if you decide to own it for long periods, you just made a good decision financially for sure! I owned a Ford and Isuzu during my ownership, but those ended up costing more in repair bills (if you are the type that fixes all little things), which led me to sh1t canning many years ago! Now to Lexus NX, if we could find any little things to find complaints about.... it still won't offset the fact that it's own one and forget worrying about falling apart in few years like the others.

Absolutely buying A Lexus is almost always a smart decision. Very few have issues and the resale values are normally really high as well.
