    I am first, I will swap my IS to next gen NX in 2022 without test drive purely based on my 100%confidence on Lexus and recent drive of RAV4 hybrid here in Australia and Highlander Hybrid late 2019 in Canada. The new NX must be awesome, no test required, because it is a Lexus. This gen is way too old and dynamically outdated, insurance companies love this one though:) Last but not least, awesome and objective review Tom and team.

    Informative video. I am looking at the 2021 NX300 now, but based on what you said about the updated design etc of the 2022 model, I think i will keep driving my 2015 RX350 a while longer . Hey Tom, the F-Sport actually has the same 18” wheels. So the wheels are the same size across the whole range. The biggest difference between the luxury and f sport is not the ride quality because if you actually drive them back to back most people won’t even notice difference. A lot of people do notice the difference between the seats because they are “sports style” which for a lot of people feel more supportive and hugging. Otherwise great review 👍

  • @berniejaw6552
    @berniejaw6552 Před 3 lety +1

    I drive a NX luxury, and I can tell you the seats are softer, hence in long journey, is more comfortable than the harder leather in FSport or Luxury Sport. I buy Lexus for luxury, durability and reliability, so I don't really care dated interior comparing to other brands. However, I still think the interior quality of other European competitors are slightly better.

      @@chasingcars I was tossing up between RAV4, CX5, Tiguan and the NX. Bought the NX300 F Sport as i found the build quality was a step above the others. No regrets.

      @@chasingcars 100% correct. We bought an entry level UX200 after test driving the Mazda CX30. Whilst the list of features on the Mazda were impressive, the build quality and the driving experience was worth the $10k difference in price in our opinion. We have had the UX for almost a year now and love it both driving inner city and long distance. Also we bought the luxury as the drive quality was noticeably different to the Fsport with the larger rims. Its a family car so went with comfort over performance.
