- We made a simple DIY workbench! All we needed was something that was cheap and easy for us to get started with some beginner woodworking projects. If you follow along, you should be able to spend less than $50 and 30 minutes to make the same workbench!
We plan to use this workbench to make projects around the house, like plant stands and bird perches. It would even work well as an out-feed table for our table-saw.
👇🏼 Comment down below what else you think we should make on our workbench!

I HAVE GONE THROUGH 10 VIDEOS AND YOURS IS THE ONLY ONE THAT PROVIDES THE MATERIALS!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!
One more subscriber; I used to help my grandpa on his work as a carpenter, the thing is I couldn’t learn more from him so now I’m trying to learn by myself and definitely I have to thank you guys
Just came across your video. New woodworker teaching myself through CZcams. I needed an EASY to build table and you provided it, PLUS the materials and tools I'll need. This video is heaven sent for something like me! I hope youre going to post more builds!!
I'm so thankful YT recommended this channel. I'm a beginner woodworker, always looking for ideas and ways to learn more, I'm binge watching all your videos now. Hope you guys explode really soon, you deserve it, original and fresh content, keep it up
Fernando, you are BEYOND nice! Thank you sooo much for making our day!! Sorry we're slow in posting videos because our jobs keep us really busy but we’re eager to share everything we learn about woodworking along with you! 😆 Good luck with your projects!
Love it! Definitely have a few ideas for your first DIY and home project (well second):
- Planter boxes
- Wooden step stool
- Spice racks for the kitchen and/or floating shelves
Ooh thank you! We LOVE these ideas! Definitely adding them to the list!
Thank you for inspiration. Building work bench table for my mom's ceramic and stained glass projects. Excellent early mother's day gift instead of buying a $150 Amazon work bench :) spent around $70 cuz extra modifications like peg board to hang her tools :)
Great video guys was lots of fun to watch and a simple work bench that fits almost all projects
I like you guy's! Your both very funny! My wife is from the Philippines too! I only wish she would be more hands on in woodworking project's like you are Kim! Keep making videos! I've already watched ever one of them so far! I love y'all. And especially your senses of humor.👍😀
Great.
Might try this one for my first work bench.
Great Video, so easy to DIY. You guys should do more easy DIY....LOVE IT
Good job keeping it simple and short, you guys make a cute 😊 couple. Blessings to you.
Thank you so much! We're high school sweethearts and our 10 year dating anniversary was just last month. Excited to make things together for our first home. Good luck with your workbench!
Looks like you have more fun than it's legal in the work bench build business!!! 🙂🙃
Good job folks! Lets be clear, this is a table, as there isn't sufficient mass to be considered as a work bench.
Good job! And you guys are so cute, it refreshing!
Totally adorkable
Nice build. My wife and i will soon build one too. Greetings from sunny Jamaica.
👏👏💙💛Nice work ... making a high island table based on this 😃🏠
Great job! 👍
This is really cool! Very wholesome 😆
Unfortunately I just finished building my workbench, the day it got recommended to me. But I'm mainly a hand tool woodworker, so mine is a bit different, I will share how I built it on my channel, but you guys are doing great, I'm just 15 rn so my parents won't give me a miter saw 😂😂😂😂
You make a good couple and thanks for keeping it simple 😀
Just trying our best 🙂 Thank you for taking the time to write!
I´m also in the process of building a temporary workbench for my future projects, which eventually would be a better workbench, yours is functional and shouldnt take me more than 1-2 hours to make, I would like to leave couple of inches on the table top as a clamping zone
Really informative video. I need a new workstation that’s cost effective. Love the video!
Good job Kim,Dan
Thank you!!
Great job!
Nice! Thanks
Very cool!!
And sooo essential unless you wanna work on the floor 😂
Really nice..! 👍👍👍🌷
thanks a lot
could you help me ?
I don't know what does this sentence mean :
Legs = (8) 2x4’s cut 28 1/4 inch long (Legs for a 34 inch tall bench)
which one is the width ? height ? 2x4's ? what is s mean? and also 28 1/4 ?
sorry for my question I'm beginer
Just the morning video I needed. At 6'4" my bench is def gonna be higher than yours..lol..great video guys.
Wonderful video. Could you put casters on it?
haha... You guys are cute... Now you need to build some floating shelves for the garage shop.
Cute thumbnail, nice video
Nice bench! You happen to have the plans?
What was the size of the plywood ?
What is wood type used ?
just had this video pop up in my recommended vids and i died at 00:18 LOLOLOL
What is the size of top
Do you have the materials list and dimensions
Hiya petals. Great but only one thing: you should sand down the raw edges so you don't get hurteys when working around those sharp cuts. New stuff has teeth. Also when you get little ones they can safely use it as a play-fort. Now go and make tiny new replacement citizens: keep our demographic healthy. Okay: now set to and get busy!
Funny video. The wife is cute also
Lol so awkward thats its funny good video
Heyoooo, this guy called us funny.
Where did you find such inexpensive lumber? That project seems like it would cost $200 bucks not including tools.
We were lucky enough to buy our lumber right before covid... I heard the lumber prices jumped exponentially since. Hopefully it goes down to something reasonable soon, so us beginners can work with something!
Edit: Dan just checked Lowes (where we originally bought our wood) and this plan should cost at least around $70 in lumber now, despite the increase in prices.
😁👏👏👏
You kids are so cute...
Just some kids with big, scary power tools 😆
You're weird. That's why I like you.
Why can´t we just all move on to the metric system? I mean really. Every time with the conversions...
Fun fact, the USA wanted to move to the metric system in the past but it would cost billions to change all the signs on freeways… but the military does use metric.
