Just stumbled upon your channel. I like it so far! I really like my Lawman, but more often than not, if I'm grabbing a Cold Steel, I end up grabbing one of my Recon 1's. Regardless of which one I grab for the day, I do love my Cold Steel knives.
Have carried the American Lawman for years now. It's a one & done purchase. It'll eat ANYTHING you throw at it & keep going. I don't even own another carry knife because I don't need to waste the money having it sit there doing nothing. Bought mine when they were around $60.
@@crazyone5409 It's a great knife. I've carried this knife on me daily for years now. There's some good reviews out there on this & they all are positive. Cold Steel hit a home run with this blade.
For those of you wondering, I bought the new American Lawman in seven steel. The handle is significantly thinner than the aus8 handle. I prefer the aus8 handle over the new one. You can swap the blades between the 2 & they are interchangable 100%. So I'm rocking the awesome seven steel with the older aus8 g10 handle. It feels 100% better & less cheap.
I really like mine. The action has smoothed up very nicely over the years. I did strip the DLC coating because mine started peeling off with even moderate use.
I was looking for a good quiality affordable knife that does everything. Feeling good about my purchase after watching this. Im new to buying knives. I bought the esee 3 for camping chores and more rugged uses. This lawman will always be in my pocket.
The tight pocket clip is nice for back pocket carry. With a softer clip, the knife can start to slide out from rubbing against car seats and other things. For a work knife, I like tight.
So your saying it’s the cold steel’s “Jack of All Trades” knife? Like Timbo, I find myself grabbing my code 4 or mini recon 1 first over all knives…. Sometimes my AD10 or 4max scout too..lol
American lawman is in my pocket right now. Love it
I've been carrying it as well, and I've been loving it!
My vote goes for American Lawman, I’d consider the smallest I carry, my “work” knife is Recon 1 Tanto, and whatever other Cold Steel I carry.

Thanks so much! I love my CS knives as well
Got a ton of knives and the American Lawman is still my favorite edc. Carries great in the pocket and a great all around knife.
I carry a Cold Steel American Lawman S35VN in my pocket and a Mint Green Spyderco Delica 4 in M4 steel in my cargo pocket for extra slicey situations.
I have the PM 2 and Lawman on my cart now I am feeling confident I have made solid choice and these blade will not fail on me and I can count on them

Great purchase! Good to hear
I've been thinking of pulling the trigger on this one and I was just looking for an unbiased opinion for it before I buy it. How is this one?

@@crazyone5409thanks for sharing your experience. I have mine arriving tomorrow. Can’t wait. Big cold steel fan here. Cheers!

I think you have the old Teflon coating, which comes off. This DLC doesn't peel off.
@@griff7749 Probably. It's about ten years old.

Lawman is my favourite edc.
Great knives 🙌
Agreed!

True true
Gotta love it when it's tight ;)
Was going to get the ultimate hunter but this popped up on sale. Most reviewers love it but I don’t like small knives very much
I love my C/S American Lawman but I also love my Spyderco PM2 CruCarta, I'm torn, like that 90s song.
Just buy ten of each 😂 I own both and will be being duplicates asap
Merci bonne vidéo
de rien!
