- My first tribute to Joey and Rory Feek. I am reading Rory's blog post from his website thislifeilive.com. I feel as if I have known them for a lifetime because they have opened their lives to us all to be a part of Joey's cancer journey I (WE) THANK YOU.

It's been said that there are no perfect people here on earth but I do believe that this woman was as near perfect as perfect can be!! She was such an inspiration for so many!! I can only imagine how beautiful she is in heaven and the jewels in her crown can't compare to her beauty!!

I pray for Joey and Rory and their family every night. I lost my wife of 10 years to stage 4 breast cancer in 2011, she was only 30 years old when diagnosed and did not make it to her 34th birthday. I understand all too well what Rory is going through right now and I pray that God gives him the strength that he is going to need to make it through, because I know had it not been for God I surely would not have.

Once you go through something like that it changes you forever and you understand first hand when someone else goes through it. Thank you for your love and compassion

I walked this road with my husband whom passed away Dec 28th 2017. Your never ready. You try to get ready but that never happens. It's a long hard road. And many lessons are learned threw the experience. For me it taught me to be a fighter... I will take the lessons learned from cancer and live softer, slower, I will not take life for granted any more. Rip in peace my dear husband. JACK you fought hard. I will always love you. See you one day...

I find it very hard that there are people who would give this a thumbs down. I guess they never lost anyone close to them. My family have endured more than most, but we were never able to say goodbye to them . But as Joey sings "See You There"

Well I got my first hate comment last night and truthfully I'm surprised it didn't come sooner. Some just have to always look at the negative side of things. This tribute I put together was to celebrate the love and devotion that Rory and Joey have for each other. Reading his blog and putting pictures to it just brings to life his deep love for Joey and hers for him. I just LOVE this beautiful couple.

omgosh this is so heartbreaking what a brave beautiful woman and family! i lost my husband within days aftr being diagnosed with lung cancer and i see this and heard about their story 2 days now i can not hardly quit crying and i just dont understand but you have all of our prayers may god give you a healing and if its not its will may you fly high with all his angels sweet baby girl! may god and his angels give you all peace and comfort we love you!

I know this is late. I used to listen to country music but eighteen years ago I got a job in a church. Was not allowed to listen to other. Was that a friend's funeral when I heard a song. I investigated found the song and when I'm gone that's running most beautiful songs I've ever heard.I even used it in a sermon from memorial day 2019. So sorry to hear about Joey and Rory I've been praying for you and your little daughter indy. I have found so many beautiful songs from you too. I'll listen to everyday. Your songs are changing my heart to be more passionate towards others than I ever have been. And my sermons have been showing that to the congregation that we all need to be more passion more loving more caring more praying. Thank you for changing my life even though Joey's been gone for 3 years or so. I've always loved the music and the videos tell my time is call home. Three of your are in the line up for my funeral. God bless you Rory and Indy.

All I want to say to Joey and his family is, " please do not give up" as long as she still has her breath, give her carrot juice, beet juice, raw vegetable and so on with prayers as we know that sometimes God does miracle in our lives...Faith can move mountains!!! I went thru this with my beloved husband 3 yrs,ago. my precious husband he got his miracle God took his,hand and lead him HOME. not the miracle I wanted and it was hard to let go and it's still hard. precious father in heaven I know you hear all of our prayers Please Please Touch this precious girl and give her peace were asking for a miracle but I'm also asking for peace for this precious family. father God please reach your loving hand down and heal Joey. but we know your will will be done. it is the most horrible decision that this young girl made not to have any more chemo but we are still of God to heal we're all begging for a miracle for this young girl in Jesus name I pray amen

Pamela Cron I just saw them in concert on the 4th of July at their farm house concert. But because of her condition already taking a toll on her we only got to talk with her and Rory during the answer and question part of the concert. Folks, this is a beautiful piece paying tribute to a beautiful family and aching hearts. It hurts to think that any of the Feek family may be reading through these comments and see folks arguing and sniping at one another. A better use of that energy, for now, is to put out positive thoughts and prayers for the family. I would appreciate any disagreements on what treatments may or may not work be made in some other forum. Just my two cents worth.

What a beautiful testimony from two beautiful people. Beautiful physically, beautiful musically, but more important, beautiful spiritually. The love they have for one another poured out whenever I enjoyed them from afar. I thought, I want to be them. Such a great couple. My prayers go out for Rory and their surviving family members. Rory, I couldn’t do it. I’m ashamed to admit that my faith is not strong enough to support me as your faith has supported you - I just realized that in the last few minutes. I believe that Joey and Rory will be reunited on the other side of the veil at a time that only God knows. Until then, we can all pray that it’s so.

A LONG TIME FAN since many moons ago when I heard, "That's Important to Me" one rainy night as I was driving with our young son alone. I was nervous navigating a very tough mountain road I was unfamiliar with. All of a sudden a voice of an angel came through the radio singing to me about so many things that I believed in and suddenly I was not scared anymore and could relax. I tried to listen to each word carefully and memorize a few lines. When the song was over the DJ did not say the name of the song or who it was. It took me weeks doing a lyrics search until I found "Joey Martin" and the song I had heard that night. She was not yet Joey Feek. The song became an anthem for me and I bought numerous copies on amazon to share with friends I knew would connect with the song as well. A few years later, the video came out with Joey and Rory doing a duet version. I cried the first time I saw it. I wish it had millions and millions of views. Maybe someday it will. If you have not heard the song or viewed the official video, GO CHECK IT OUT !!
Rest in Peace, Joey. You were truly as beautiful on the inside as you were on the outside.

Pamela, Thank you for lending your beautiful reading voice to tell this story. I learned of them only last week and my heart is completely shattered to see such a beautiful couple go through so much, and yet, at the same time, I am so inspired by their example of faith, love, and perseverance. I hope for a miracle for them but when she is gone, and one day we will all be gone, I know that the effect of their story on my life will never leave, and the legacy of her beautiful song and angelic voice and spirit with live with all of us it has touched for as long as we live. Thanks again making this available to the world and for the great effort to do it with beauty, dignity, and reverence.

I began listening to their music about 2 years ago and loved the songs.Today I read about her battle with cancer and her decision to stop treatment. My heart is heavy but praying for her with a peaceful sleep and join our God where she will not have any more pain or cancer. So sad..........praying for Rory and the girls..

Saw this beautiful couple on "The Gaither's" and was very impressed with their talent and their beautiful loving spirit. Shocked beyond words to hear of Joey's situation. I pray that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead will rise up in Joey and free her from this bad report. No weapon formed against us will prosper. By His stripes we are healed. He came to give life, not death, and life more abundantly. I decree all of these promises to every cell of Joey's body by the power and authority granted me through His shed blood. Only today, I have heard Joey's & Rory's music for the first time....and just now have realized the presence of Joey's illness. I feel stunned. Being someone who finds immeasurable joy in beautiful music, especially of music that glorifies our Father in Heaven....maybe you can imagine the excitement of finding music that I love, and then the stunned disappointment in learning of Joey's and Rory's battle. I learned long ago, there are no words to describe the loss of someone we love so dearly, but there is faith and trust in God, knowing that He is able to use even this to bring someone else to the cross. May God's love continue to enrich every life that comes to Him.

Joey and Rory I think about what your going through daily since I heard that Joey has cancer. My heart is heavy and my eyes full of tears. I have prayed for you and will keep doing so. I pray for God to take the sickness away and bless you with a miracle. ( Keep fighting) make your body's PH Alkaline Cancer can't grow in Alkaline environment Go to Dr Loraine Day's website and read her story.
