minus 10 to Vicki and Ricco,, you COMPLETELY MISSED the greatest feature I have ever seen.... you can actually pilot this ship from the fly deck AND bartend for guests AT THE SAME TIME. This boat has made me completely rethink my design standards.

Did Rico really just say "To helm the boat"? Helm is a noun, not a bloody verb, you can not helm a boat. You take the helm, you can sit at the helm but you can't "helm" anything. You can steer, pilot, command, skipper or captain but you can't helm!
With that pet peeve out of the way, nice boat. A lovely old classic that would make one heck of a liveaboard and she's a credit to those who have maintained her over the years. Pity she runs Detroits, the fuel bill will be eye-watering. Detroits are great, reliable engines but two strokes use a fair bit of the old go juice.

I hope you do both the small end and large end (I think you said in your last video that was 499ft) and maybe the average size (what ever that is)
And include the repainting it every 7 years or what ever to keep barnacles from forming on the sides

I grew up around Hatteras Yachts. My Dad worked there when I was a kid. Went onboard many amazing large yachts but this one is a great classic. Beautiful.

My dad owned a company that supplied Hatteras in HP with some specialized products. I always tried to go along with him if he was making a delivery. I loved crawling into the boats in different stages of completion, and I can still remember sitting at the helm of some of those boats as an eight to ten year old thinking that yacht life was something worth looking into when I got older.
I was born and raised in New Bern where Hatteras Yachts were built. Although the company was and still is prone to a lot of layoffs, they build a good quality Boat!
I've only ever been on these boats outfitted for shrimping in the sound and ocean but they are quality boats with a well deserved reputation.
I really like the enclosed cockpit, it’d be great for dining with guests, but also being able to open it up makes it great for multiple uses and conditions.
I love classic. Built to last with preventative maintenance. Lovely!

Very rare I ever make a comment on a boat but a relative of mine helped build that boat back in late 80s early 90sand talked about it even then how wonderful it was
I love how externally it has that classic look, and they did an excellent job on the internals.
When I saw the galley and it looked like a regular kitchen and the double oven, I immediately thought of Family Thanksgiving/Christmas Celebrations.

Now THIS is a live aboard. It's comfortable, large enough and built/upgraded for this purpose and clearly not for high seas. Lot of sense, in some details even more than some modern boats. Really impressed by the maintenance - marvellous job, whoever did this.
Hatteras builds an beautiful yacht and a real classic one to boot. I really appreciate their classic beauty.

Hello from Southmont NC. I have 2 friends that worked for Hatteras. A cad designer and a shop foreman. High Point is most known for furniture, but operations were consolidated to the New Bern plant where this boat was built. Quality is the word for Hatteras. My neighbour was the shop person. When I rebuilt my Lightning Class sailboat, I was under the strong arm of the law as to my work. Several jobs had to be done over and over til the boat was " acceptable ".

I own a Hatteras 36C Sport fisher. She’s a battleship that’s gets me home every time. I re-powered her with Cummins 6CTA 450HP, installed Glendinning controls with pro pilot. New 11Kw Northern lights Gen set. All she needs is new paint and upgrading the V-berth bedding. We Live our HAT!!
They took a classic boat and improved it. Great value.
Don’t worry about the smaller oven for your Bering, you can use the gas grill (provided you have one) as an oven for larger items like roasts or turkeys.

Vicky,my dear,you look better every video,and you are aboard one of my favorite yachts from my childhod in the 1960s.My parents had many rich friends.We weren't rich,but we weren't poor either.My brother.andI had a .13'Boston Haler,with a 33 hpevinrude.we also had a Wellcraft 185Airslot,with a 165 hp Mercruiser,We also had an open account at the Savannah Yacht club to keep them running,and keep us lubricated

Hi guys it's nice to be early on a video! As I have said in the past I love your videos. Now this is a nice boat it's affordable it's high quality it's Timeless and Design. I believe the naval architect was John Hargrave. Hatteras's are battleships. Great video thank you

I way this was refitted. It’s dark . Very dark.no use of light materials as this. Oat just isn’t full of light as it should be
More liked shocked than impressed how a 1992 boat looked. Everything as incredible except the fuel range, but for a live aboard wow.

Just have to love the dynamic between Rico and Victoria. They have to be fun people to hang out with.
Galley thoughts. If you decide on a double sink make both sides equal. And very large. Think, post and pans that can sit flat in the sink. Also, purified water filter spigots.
Nice from the inside. Ideal for baltic sea where it would be too often too cold to sit outside during dinner
In the late 80s, I spent many weekends on a brand new U.S. Customs 55' Hattie sport fisher. Nothing compares to sleeping aboard a yacht 60 miles off shore, with the gens & swells lulling you off to dreamland, until your mate wakes you at 4am to relieve him at the radar! I developed a warm spot for Hatteras in those days, and even today, I could see myself living aboard this beauty at Lawrence St. T-Head down in Corpus Christi!

I LOVE this boat! As owners of a 1980s houseboat, vintage boats can be a bit scary. This one is beautiful! Whomever purchases her will be one very lucky owner. Wish it were me!
So nice, you can tell the owner has just loved that boat. Maintained to the highest spec. Great upgrades and engine room. A perfect example of, you don't need brand new to be stunning and elegant, you just have to love and care for what you have. Hope the next owner loves it the same. Thanks for the tour.

Must say this boat is unique,clean and most well maintained I've seen. I'd live on it in a minute. Short personal trips up and down the coast,Cabo,sea of Cortez. Maybe do the Panama Canal and tour the Caribbean. The stuff of dreams. Don't think finding folks to pay for passage would be too hard. Thanks for another great review 🤟😎👍
