She looks large, but sleek 'the boat'. It's scorching hot here in the Netherlands so this will be a garden viewing.

People think $500000 is cheap for a house in Phoenix metro area. Go figure.
@@bradleypollack5658 Yep. Same here for NYC suburbs. Small/Medium sized townhouses for over $2 million. Crazy expensive.
Compared to most yachts this size, and considering the age of the boat. It makes sense.
I keep seeing videos for motor homes selling for 2 million plus and the deprecate so fast and they cost so much to go anywhere and to stay at a campground cost two and three hundred dollars a day they get 4 miles to the gallon and in ten years they are worth maybe three hundred thousand dollars and at ten years who ever buys it can not get financing because of the age
In my opinion they are worse than a boat
OTOH this thing has depreciated A LOT since new, the partial refit was not cheap, V12 2 stroke Detroits x2 are gonna burn dinosaur juice (3,600 gallon fill-ups), mooring fees, insurance and inspection is not going to be cheap, employ a Captain who is qualified and insurable, drydock/paint every few years, eventual engine overhauls, generator overhauls… nice yacht for the money, but cost of ownership will make any RV look like pocket change.
One of the nicest boats I’ve ever seen in this size range.

Looks like a great live-aboard -- loads of storage space, plenty of living space, nice light and airy feel to the yacht. I like that the guest cabins are separate from the owner's cabins, if one wishes to use the layout in that manner. Love the fact that the master is not adjacent to the engine spaces, particularly if one wants to do overnight passages. Same goes for the separate pilot house, which can be kept reasonably dark while owner/guests are enjoying the living spaces. And, being of Finnish descent, the sauna is awesome! Overall, a well-done 96' yacht. Now, if I could only win the lottery!! Oh, well.

One of my favorite tours so far! Love seeing a beautifully updated older boat at a reasonable price! Seeing what you get used and updated versus something brand new at the same price almost makes it seem like a no-brained to buy used.

I love that rising workstation computer. The Original La La Land Guru sure is person after my own heart. The ability to work and relax, and ride on out and fish for good sea food, people for faith, and work to keep us going. This is beautiful.

This 96 footer is every sailor's dream come true..spacious and sheer luxury..the master bedroom with its double entrance doors is pure opulence. Its interior space is everything....a floating hotel on the high seas. So impressive. Who wldnt want to own this beauty.

Very nice yacht. Beautiful refitting. Galley is so nice, salon very livable. Beautiful large state rooms. Outside is beautiful and so well designed. I love how you do your tours, you are a fun person. Thanks for sharing.
I like both the tour guides because he brings info and details and specs from boat knowledge and she reacts to things seen that are info not pointed out in most tours. If she sees it she gives you her honest feelings of the state of the boat and its heart and knee jerk honest reactions. She puts her self as a homeowner looking for a home rather than a yacht tour. So if you know what your looking for, as a boat buyer you can tell the state of the boat and the vibes the boat gives first feel perspective. I think that is important when viewing from a screen and hearing the words, you could scratch one off if you were to look at a list of possibilities you may be able to prioritise the list from first to last better. You two are a good couple and a good team as well. I know he djs but this suits you both. But it does take both of you for a well rounded tour for he is technical and that is a description of the details and so your both part of the perfect package tour. Great job and thank you.

To be honest I had to watch the walk to the bow 3 times to see all the nice features of the boat, because I was mesmerized watching Victorias nice walk and smile. Yall are top notch. So thorough and down to earth

A very spacious yacht for 30 meters . The wood finishes are typical of the time , but are far from a thing of the past . On new yachts you will again see wooden accents
in exotic woods . Nice presentation an good work from the DJ !!!!!

The maintenance would be unbearable plus you have to have a full time crew.
When I watch this channel my mind drifts off to owning these Yacht. Its really pleasant and exciting.
I Really like this one and could easily live on it. I have been trying to talk my wife into this life once we retire although she can work from anywhere now so it's feasible to make this change now. Anyway.. this would be perfect, has everything needed and more. I love the layout. Good job guys, no life on the Rox for you 2. :)

Yes it would be priced down because of age. 1997, twenty three years old regardless of refits. Note the stained paintwork at beginning of video and on aft controls. Awful wood color by the way.

You could literally chop up an entire 97’ and hold it in all the storage areas on this lady. They 90’s did produce some spectacular yachts back in the day. Thx for sharing 👍

What a beautiful yacht for less than $2.00m. I wish I knew more about piloting one of these, I would prefer this to a home in the current real estate market.
That first cabin screams captain’s cabin! It’s a lot of boat, especially for the price. Nice refit, you don’t get a dated feel for being 25 years old. I would change the Formica countertops in the galley and get a different DR table but that’s about it. Lots of fun to be had here, bring the whole gang!

The "Platinum" record on the wall hints at who the owner might be. It said "Newsboys" which according to Google is a Christian Rock group formed in Australia in the 80's. According to Google the founder of the group lives in Nashville TN which is the city we see listed on the stern. One of their "hit" songs was "I fought the LA" which includes in the lyrics "La la la la la" which may be how they came up with the name of the boat "La La Land" . Amazing what you can figure out when you pay attention to details

The bidet nozzles are common in some places, particularly Thailand. Commonly referred to as a "bum gun". Also a cheap life saver during the great toilet paper famine of 2020. The hoarders bought up all the TP and affordable bidets, but not the sink sprayers.
This is a very livable live-on yacht. I could see us retiring on this with a nice RV onshore for land cruising.

A gorgeous yacht that was apparently expertly designed for an owner with a number of children and grandchildren, but that’s just speculation. In any case a great live aboard yacht. Only pick I would have are the engines. I love Detroit and MTU diesels but not fond of 92 series but that’s a small pick. You folks are doing a great job, just fun to watch!
