Join us on a self-guided Walkthrough ;) of this Classic Dutch Beauty built in 1986 by Heesen and named SEA AXIS by her amazing owners! You will not believe how modern and beautiful she is on the inside, thanks to a couple of major refits in the last 12 years. This might just be one of my personal fav refits I have seen to date. The highlights of this Yacht Tour for me were: The Sun deck (a special seat I will always remember:), the spectacular and elegant woodwork throughout, the specious guest cabins (and yes, I did find a few awesome features to add to our "famous" FBBL), the VIP was simply amazing, but the Master Cabin...well, just check it out for yourself and tell me you would not want to go on an extended cruise just to spend time in that cabin! It also had surprisingly great size crew quarters and a pretty spotless engine room (wait till you see what engines this Lady has got... it made Rico's german heart skip a bit) lol

This yacht is perfect, I wouldn’t change a thing. Beautiful exterior, stunning interior with some of the most exquisite woodwork I’ve ever seen. All of the appointments are elegant yet tasteful and to top it off the crew was given good quarters and I assume the captain’s quarters are excellent. Now if I come into a lot of money and you two sign on as crew I’ll be a happy man!

One thing that I would change is the price. As nice as it is, it's still a boat fast approaching the 40 year mark with 20 year old engines.
Rico seems to have a singular focus point when he is filming. Very luxurious accommodations.

That’s the way to keep the Captain under control.
We all know what Rico's focus is when filming and no one is complaining. He follows the focus when going up stairs but goes first when on downward trek. The guys a genius and we all appreciate his talent.
@@williamporter8355 proper etiquette is that female go first going up a stair and male going first down a stair. Wonder how many folks still know this etiquette and in particular why. Rico is a true gentleman.
The descriptions you guys are producing for your shoots are the most professional, comprehensive and informative on youtube, far better than anything I've yet seen on any channel on any subject, brilliant stuff.

I love the exterior...I'm sold. If I won the lottery this weekend, I'mma buy it, and hire you both to captain it.I genuinely enjoy the banter between you, Victoria and Ricco. Plus, the way you consistently, from boat, to boat, follow the same system of exploring the boat. You're the rule I measure other boat reviews by...and they rarely measure up to you two.

Really pretty boat, and a lovely walk through. A lot of yacht for a small crew to take care of. 2 interior, 2 deck 1 Engineer, Captain plus (chief Stewardess?), still a lot to keep in immaculate condition. I'd love it. Well done Victoria and Rico. Victoria's always the eye candy on these tours!!! Her outfits are always really well chosen.

Typical Van Heesen quality: outside styling and interior design and materials are excellent, after 35 years this ship still looks fresh and contemporary. I wouldn't change a single thing, it's just perfect, what a beauty!

I love that you guys review even older boats but not just that but those that have had a refit and this by far is the top one on my list. More refits with this high level would be great. Also, you know there is a massive amount of storage when even Victoria says I'm not opening up all of the storage options. Great job guys and see ya next week.

@@NautiStyles Do you guys have any vids on ownership costs beyond the purchase price? Yachts, especially these suckers have crazy expensive monthly bills, then if u want to take them anywhere, whammo, 5 to 10k for gas alone.
Things u wouldn't think about: fenders, lines, wash downs, etc. Cha ching

Swim spa for exercise… hot tub for warm of muscles……the blue bar? Love it so much… love the seating to look at the sea, instead of back to the boat…..the inside eating area… the only word for this yacht…. Perfection….can u imagine cleaning the wood?

That's a very interesting yacht. Great layout designed at a time when form v function always won. The engine room shows that. Some great innovative features. I like the packaging of the design. A great refit and looks very contemporary.
The only reason to own a yacht, to have Victoria tour it and look it every cabinet.

Magnificent living and recreational areas, yes. Watch some of James Knights indepth reviews of Nordhavn trawlers, then imagine doing the same with this old thing, the things you would find, the hidden horrors time and sea water creates together. Add the size of this thing and youll feel sorry for those who buy this.
Absolute stunner. As far as yachts can be called value for money this one is it.
I worked in a tractor factory and we also built some parts for Duetz. Their engines don't use gaskets. Parts are ground to absolute perfection. Very tight tolerance. No gaskets to be eaten by coolant. These engines run forever.
What a wonderful episode - Victoria was like a delighted child exploring a brand new wonderland.
This is indeed a most splendid boat ( first I'd seen fitted with Deutz) and you both really brought it to life.

Indeed, I am curious from an science/engineering perspective. How do you get a motor that big inside one of those boats, let alone to the engine room. Those things are twice the size of Victoria and her husband combined. I figure it would be quite a bit of work to get one of those through the door.
This is the first yacht I’ve seen that doesn’t look like a weekend party boat. While you can certainly entertain and have a good time with the toys, this yacht looks like it’s more for family living. Another great video by a great team, guys.

This yacht looks like it is worth twice the price. It's stunning. Would love to buy this and sail it to Monaco for the Grand Prix. Never heard of Kalik beer. Wonder if I can find it in Colorado. I'm addicted to your tour videos! I've owned many RV's ie: diesel motor coaches but never knew much about boats, or should I say yachts? I've learned a great deal from each and every video that you did.. I would LOVE to own one now after seeing them through your tours!

Extremely interesting yacht, for a yacht of her size, it seemed like limited outdoor space. However I did like the way all the toys were stored. It is clear that she is a well loved and maintained yacht. The crew care about her. I love the interior decoration. Overall a a great yacht.

Umm. Wonder if the rolling would make them spray all the time. Doubtful. But still, yeah I've never seen kegs on a ship either.
@@Bubbles99718 it would reduce the trash on a ship since you would not have the empty can's or bottles ..it seems to me that sodas and beer should be on a fountain system like any bar or restaurant. It would take up less space in dry storage cost much much less and produce less trash I would think charter boats would be all over that .

@@NautiStyles I think beer would be easy sodas maybe not ...you would need to store CO2 tanks to carbonate them and then you might not save any space and could possibly be adding a lot of weight. I know I would gladly give up a couple of fancy wine coolers for a keg-o-rater like I have out in the garage
