This episode of From the Hangar is actually "from the AV studio!" Your host Lem Malabuyo talks with MAF's Fred and Desi Schmidt, along with their eldest son Tyler. They chat about their multi-generational missionary family, starting with Fred being a third-culture kid (TCK). Fred, Desi, and Tyler share their thoughts on missionary life and the joys and difficulties that come with raising families in developing countries. They also talk talked about the odd interactions they experienced coming back to their “passport country” and interacting with their peers who did not grow up overseas!

I am now a pilot. Everyday in WAMENA Papua Indonesia, as a young boy, I always Watch the airplane of MAF take off and Land, as My Father is an evangilist and always walk to the remote area of Papua to spread the Gospel, I Said, I have to be a pilot, so My father doesn’t Need to walk again, but I fly him to Those places. and it Is the reason why I wanna be a pilot. I’m still waiting to be a misionary pilot. God bless MAF !!
