Yvonne De Carlo was 42 when she played Lily Munster in the series. Sheri is 52. Playing the younger version... Butch is only voicing Tin Can Man. So the only people that know he's in it are the hardcore fans, people who look it up. So if the movie does terribly, it won't matter much to Butch. This was a good interview!
You can't really do a modern Munsters movie with a new cast. It was a product of its time. Maybe it would work better as Hotel Transylvania-type CGI movie or series. I honestly think that is the road to go down.

I was born in September of 1964 when the Munsters premiered so being so young at that time, i was born 20 days before the first episode premiered. So only being born at that time and being a baby I didn't even know who these people were until I was watching a old episode on CZcams of Butch Patrick on the dating game from an episode from 1972 and than I googled him to see what he is up to now. Other wise I didn't even know of these actors cause I was soooooo young and didn't really watch much rerums.. I was a infant and toddler when the show was being taped....and on tv. . Way back then. I remember hearing the Munsters theme song playing on the tv when I got home from kindergarten which had to be reruns because the Munsters was cancelled when I was almost 2 years old. In fact this is going too personal now but you don't know who I am so I can be brutally honest hiding behind my computer.... I get dermal fillers and botox and I look half the age of people my age but Butch Patrick is 11 years older than me but I am talking about people in General. and I was just hired for a job and the boss is younger than me but in her 50s, she freaking thinks some how I can't be born when I was after seeing my drivers license because she is younger than me but I almost look like I could be her daughter....She is so freaking confused because also I have a baby face my whole life which also helps.. She was confused and in shock when she saw my date of birth on my driver's license LOL... damn drivers license people at work find out I'm old and use it against me after I look so young and spend so much money to look young.
Butch is being nice. The Rob Zombie Munsters movie looks like dog shit and I am not the only one feeling this way. Having said that I will stream it and watch it when I have nothing else to do.
GREAT INTERVIEW--- but as to the movie--- I thnk it was TRASH-- pure drug inspired cartoony BS.... the only GOOD parts-- the HOUSE was GREAT--and they recreated intro in black and white with them walking through the door to the music--the rest was CRAP-- plain and simple... it was in NO WAY related to the original in spirit, action or anything else-- just RUINED a classic... I think it should be a law that NO remakes of ANY classic were allowed.. because they ALWAYS fu.. up a good thing. They did TRUE GRIT with Jeff Bridges- to the EXACT original script and it was pure TRASH too.. ruined it!! I grew up with the munsters and have the full series and movies on DVD- and THIS NEW ONE-- should be junked and never shown again

I met Butch Patrick years ago at a haunt in Georgia called Camp Blood years back. He was there signing autographs. Nice guy.
