      Former Sig guy. Had dozens of Sig guns. Romeo zero, romeo 1, romeo 1 pro, and romeo 2. What you mentioned is one of MANY reasons I'm no longer a Sig fan. It took a lot. Just wait you'll find out with the romeo x. You're a Sig beta tester customer. Sig is nothing but a shit product with a big marketing team behind it.

  • @rushthezeppelin
    @rushthezeppelin Před měsícem +3

    Did they take away the multi reticle select option that is on the regular Romeo X Compact? I've had that dot for about 2 months now and I really like keeping it on circle most of the time but it's nice to go to dot for further shots when need be and I'd hate to lose that option. That would make me think about going to the Holosun EPS Carry over this.

    • @bikeracerdude

      My holosun eps carry that I just bought 6 months ago, just broke. The copper battery connector inside the battery well snapped as I was shooting, and fell out as I took the battery out to try and replace it. Never buying holosun again.

    • @Berserkable
      @Berserkable Před 2 měsíci +1

      I don’t mean to be rude but the Romeo 0 is an absolute ZERO. It’s a garbage optic and SIG needs to discontinue it entirely imo. The new Romeo X compact lines make it even more worthless lol. The Romeo X optics are good to go along with the other US assembled line of optics. The Chinese ones can be hit or miss.

      Yes and no. I have both the EPS Carry (multi-reticle red version) and just got the Romeo X Compact enclosed (3 moa red dot version) direct from Sig at their store in NH.
      EPS Carry pros: glass actually has less tint, has longer battery life (per manufacturer specs, not sure about RL use yet, I do know it’s much less than 50k hours on circle-dot mose), has rudimentary backup notch irons (not really an issue on newer P365XL slide that keeps rear irons with dot mounted but can be issue with other guns), cheaper (MRS version $470, dot only $390; vs $480 for Romeo X Enclosed).
      Romeo X pros: Better buttons, Sig lifetime warranty, US assembled from allied nation parts, mounting/hardware on my P365XL was much smoother than EPS (wrong length screws). So far Holosun is ahead, except I’m really trying to not buy more stuff that pretty directly helps the PRC defense industry.
      The real question for me is which one will stand up to inclement weather better, but I’m not rushing to test that out, mine are mounted on different slides so eventually will try them out in the rain/snow but each is a backup for the other currently.

    They still don't have the kinks worked out of the 1st romeo x. Know far too many ppl that send them back 3-5 times bc they won't hold zero. The lenses scratch like their plastic. Save your money and get something else. Sig is beta testing it's customers again.
