Lots of people complain about Sig and their customer service. I’ve had to deal with them a few times and it was always incredibly positive.

They had to because no one would buy something that expensive from a company with such a terrible reputation without a great warranty.

I'd seen @dogmo4240's complaint, of pwr button bein too sensitive, in more'n 1 place, so I knewit waza thing. Contacted Burris, and they tried to sayit was confined to only certain gun/light combos, which don't hold water. Their "solution" was to raise button shroud height, which don't address tha fact, that tha switch is too easily activated. An "auto-brightness" dot, that can be inadvertently turned OFF's a deal-breaker for me, even at this price point! The Holosun 407K doesn't have these issues...

Never been a big Vortex fan, but I found one of these on sale and with a coupon I got it for $225. I compared this to my Swampfox Arrowhead 1-8, and my Riton 1-6. The Venom is better than both the others for different reasons. The Swampfox FOV is almost the same as the Venom at 1x, but I found the glass in the Vortex to be slightly better than the Swampfoc, it has a bit better clarity and color with slightly less chromatic abbetation than the Swampfox. The Riton came in last. I like the reticle in the Venom better than the Swampfox and Riton. At 1x-6x, I find the eyebox a little more forgiving than the other two. For such a low price point, I think the Venom is a great buy, it's one of my new favorites, and I'd say nothing else at its price bests it.

For about twice the price of P-01, why would I swap out my P-01 for the Shadow Comact as my CCW?

Recover tactical makes a piccatinny mount for a red dot which mounts without a magnet and costs a fraction of what these guys are charging. Look for PCH Piccatinny rail charging handle on their site. The mount is $40 and you can co-witness with your iron sights.

The original BP series of guns have extremely short light triggers. I hope that carries over to the BP13.

I love CZs, but don't EDC one as my hand is too small to easily engage/disengage the thumb safety, or get proper finger placement on the trigger in DA mode.

I’d trust my life to a used HK at a pawn shop then a new sig in the box. And I like SIG , but they are not the gold standard they used to be . They are making some awesome ideas but the consistent quality they used to have isn’t there. I know two people personally new 226 , 229 legion parts breakage less then year . I’ve owned the 320 , the durability isn’t there . The frame is cheap quality.

If you get the Fuse, double check the Optic. My wife's Fuse came with the Romeo X - but it is NOT....NOT....enclosed.
