Drew, you are the reason i love geography, i remeber one year ago, i struggled with geography, my tests would come out with 55-68% grades, but after i watched your videos i started to love geography and now i get grades like 88, 95%, you may think your videos are some times stupid but they make my day, and other people's day, so drew continue what you are doing. And ofcourse, i ain't a english speaker so i learn english from channels like yours.

So I gotta ask, what did you learn in school then?
In Oregon we learned all that kinda stuff, first in consumer economics sophomore year, then again in senior economics, both of which were required for graduation.
They made us read a bunch of books from the 20th century and 19th century.

5:57 it is actually quite common, that we (Austrians - not germans) go for a beer after school. Beer can be bought at the age of 16. It used to be like that with cigarettes too, now you have to be 18 to buy them.

This has actually kinda helped me in my history and geography classes since school and their interesting, you definitely deserve 1mil subs
About moths:
Basically, many nocturnal insects used moonlight to travel, but then came the invention of artificial lights and insects got confused trying to navigate around what looks like thousands of very bright moons.
Moths' brains are hardwired to navigate by staying to one side of the brightest light (normally stars or the moon), but when fires or lanterns are around, they stay to one side, meaning they spiral inward until hitting the light source.
