Two key milestones have been reached! One train has been placed on the track and is now being prepared for initial testing. But the BIG NEWS: the new spike tower is now complete!

This will 100% be my favorite ride at the park when it opens!! Was upset when they got rid of wicked twister and not a very big fan of gatekeeper. With the way this ride is looking definitely has wicked twister vibes!!

As much as I want intensity and innovation as a coaster nerd, sharing gifts of reliability like LSM enabled launches or companies like B&M to the GP makes me happy and trust that those rides will operate.
Given that trade off I’m happy for this to be made and executed.
unfortunately this was done by zamperla who have absolutely no experience on this scale. i still thing zamperla is a mistake

There already is. It's animated in CGI. If we're talking IRL however, you're probably going to have to wait just a little longer.

Based on what was shown today, I have one question - will they be installing a brake at the top of the spike? I'm sure they don't anticipate the cars going all the way to the end of the spike, but it seems like a braking system or some type of stopping mechanism would be installed as a safety measure. I realize they're not completely done with the ride, but based on the visual from the top of the final piece of track, I didn't see anything that would indicate a braking system on that last piece.
Would be great to hear about the lighting package in another pitstop video!

It’s really annoying seeing all the comments saying it’s not going to be as good as the original… I’ve never been to cedar point - never been able to justify a trip over there. But next year in June I am going! And I cannot wait!! I really hope it is open by then. From the looks of things it could very well be!! I am so excited :)
Cedar Point tries to have their new attractions for the year open on the first day of the season, which is usually in early to mid May, since they're a seasonal park. It is likely, if not defendant, that the ride will be open by June. 🎢

Iron Gwazi is the same height as Steel Vengeance yet it just seems to have a far more imposing presence. Steel Vengeance looks so small at cedar points

Looking down that spike! This is going to be better than Dragster. Going to go at least 300 feet up the spike. A 300 foot drop and a 400 foot drop on the same ride....and you don't have to go to the Middle East to ride it.

"Tallest and fastest triple-launch strata coaster" is such a weird title. It's such a specific record. Why not just say "tallest and fastest multi-launch coaster"? It's more broad and still applies.

Why do you market it as the worlds tallest and fastest triple launch strata coaster if there are no other triple launch strata coasters? You could just market it as the worlds tallest and fastest multi-launch coaster and be more broad and thus more impressive.
Falcons flight has 2 launches, so specifically saying 3 is better

Why didn't CP make 1 train have the back cart put backwards reversed you could've charged money and gave a whole knew experience, such a missed opportunity.

Cedar Fair could/should have done so much more with this "reimagining" starting with a better name. Was no one seriously creative enough to come up with something better than... Top Thrill 2?! Beyond that, they really should have started the launch backwards and added something like an airtime bump in the spike to help with capacity. It was bad before and now it will be even worse. A speed hill would have been nice before going up the top hat as well but again, zero creativity here. Love the colors and the trains but everything else looks like something they gave to a kid to design

Cedar Point lied to us: Check
Pathetic Excuse for multi-launch records and for a more reliable ride (which it might not be): Check
Overhyped and overrated revamp: Check
Biggest downgrade since Mystery Mine: Check
Cedar Point depriving people a chance of experiencing the original unique TTD experience: Check
Cedar Point pouring money down the drain and wasting time being lazy instead of just putting their heads down and facing the problem head on: Check
Biggest waste of time and money in Cedar Point history: Check
Using an inexperienced Manufacture: Check
Likely to flop when people realize it isn't as good: Check
Cedar Point continuing to go downhill since their peak 2018-2021: Check
Kingda Ka and Storm Runner are now much better than this: Check

I have 300 coaster credits so I know coasters pretty well.. So just do us all a favor and go away
