All my mini roses die within days of arrival at my house. I wish you the best with this. They’re tough customers ! Also seeing you repot this plant, I’d like to share a method that I’ve used in the past and makes everything a lot quicker. Find another pot of the same size as the one your plant is currently in. Set the empty pot as a mold inside the bigger pot and just add soil to your new pot all around until you reach the height you want. Pack it in tight. When you’re done remove your empty pot (mold) and it will leave a perfect sized hole for your plant. Just drop your plant right in the middle. Then you might need to add just a little bit more soil at the top to firm it up a little more. But it’s less mess, less plant holding and less thorns sticking you. And way quicker ! Anyway you’ve probably done this before and I’m sure I’m not giving you any new ideas. But some people here might like to know. Happy growing !

I havehad my tabletop rose for years. She was in a south facing window until someone suggested that I put her outside in the Summer. Bad move, she almost immediately got spider mites. I treated her and she made it, brought back inside and bloomed even at Christmas time. She was just happy inside in the south facing window.🤩😍. I still have her, repotted he this Spring. I prune her to keep her lush looking. I have never separated the 3 plants in the pot.😱. She is still happy and going strong. I love watching your videos 💞. Thank you, so much!

I’m surprised it’s doing well. You must have really good lights because it’s difficult too grow a rose in doors. Love your shirt 😀💚

One thing I like to do is when I go to Starbucks I ask them for their leftover coffee grounds. Since they just throw them out, they let you take them home to use on your vegetable or rose gardens. Since roses love nitrogen I've found my rose bushes LOVED getting an occasional treatment of coffee grounds in the spring :) Tea leaves are also a good choice.

I love roses too Danni. I "deadhead" the spent rose blooms as opposed to cutting. If you do this, the plant will still love you. I generally trim my rose bushes twice a year. The potting mix fertilisers should last 6 months. Your rose looks lovely. You may need more LOL. Thanks for your videos. I really enjoy them. 🙂

I hope you didn't throw the dried up one away. Usually with rose bushes, just cut off the dead stem. It should come back. Roses are amazing. I have several tea rose bushes outside. They were sickly dying , I mowed over them, they grew back, one yr later they bloomed like crazy & are taller then me.
My mom use to do that occasionally as well. It's like they need a cut back to refresh.

These roses are so weird.I had one that flourished, but only when I watered it.
I wasn't home for around 2 weeks, I knew that the rose would go through a tough time, so I called my grandma at the exact time it should be watered, telling her the exact quantity of water...And when I returned it was dead. The only plant I cried after😢.
I tried growing another one this year and it was doing great, until it got powdery mildew.I managed to treat it with water mixed with milk and heavy prunning...then it got freaking spidermites!I got rid of the spidermites, but it was too much stress for the little fella so it died😅.
I bought 2 today and I PRAY they will do better😂.

So glad your rose is doing fine! I used to keep mines on the balcony but winters were too cold for them in their pots even with protection around them so I had to put them inside. They just didn't make it so I gave up on growing them but your video makes me want to try it again.
Also I was just waiting for you to add a layer of bark but it never happened so a bit sad 🤭

  • @christopherelizondo318

So happy you posted about your roses! just today i purchased a white mini rose bush from my local grocery store and was wondering how yours was doing indoors :) keep us updated!

Perhaps you could tie the stems closely together like bonsai and make them naturally graft to eachother.

One of my favourite plants!!! I just bought a beautiful one full of blooms but put it on a sunny window sill and all the buds died. I am now trying to save it and have put it in a shadier spot. Fingers crossed !

I normally just plant the rose bush in the ground with the pot it came in. 1 the soil is just right 2 it already has the right amount of fertilizer. And the rose bush grows the roots will definitely be shooting from the bottom.

@@TheEvilnala check out cheap led aquarium lights
      I use a Nicrew light that’s about 15$
Full spectrum for planted tanks but it works on terrestrial plants. Just add a timer so the plant gets regular light. On week 2, have had great growths. Just repotted/ spread out the plantlets. The lights also come in Clip ons and bars. Found them on Amazon.

I have kept some of these roses and they grew beautifully, but were covered with thorns. I shed too much blood on them. 🤕 I hope your roses don’t have that issue.
