- Do all high hour players build good bases? Can a 1 hour Player defend a 10,000 hour base? Let's find out if the base is more important than the player! I'll set my raid team loose on these players and their bases after they're learned how to move around the new base, and we'll see what happens! Enjoy!
What is Rust? Rust is an INTENSE PVP multiplayer survival game that I've played for THOUSANDS of hours. Give the builder separate time to setup electric stuff like turret and shortgun traps other stuff. 1hour base building and 15 min to setup electric stuff and kits and bed setup
What kinda shortgun are we talking?
I agree 100% it happens like everytime where the base defense is effected because they didn’t have an extra 5 mins even. I think that is a flaw in his design that hopefully he changes cuz it’s so irritating them being so close to finishing and he makes them stop

what about a low hour builds half a base and the high hour finishes it and vice versa?
Loved being able to participate in this event, it was tons of fun but I was definitely waaay too ambitious with the time that I did have to build. Can't wait to see all the future events and videos you have planned!

I think we would see alot more cooler bases if you gave them an hour for the building, and after that like 15 min for deployable stuff, maybe a diffrent raiding group once in a while. Non the less these videos are awesome max!
Agreed, I’ve always thought it makes the video a little messy when everyone is rushing at the end throwing down random stuff. Having like 3 or 4 minutes or something dedicated to turrets n stuff would make it cleaner.

Hey max you should do a group of people raid a base you make and you have to defend
For Next Vid Plot Twist:
• The raiders and builders will swap.
• Raiders will be defending the base.
• Builders will be raiding.
Raiders(as defender) have number advantage
Builder(as raider) knows the base and tc location
would be too easy for the defenders, 4v1? they can kill him once and take all his boom and they can push all at once
@@opopo3342 if not 4v1 then 4v2, if still can't, then 4v3, 4v4. It's not fixed in stone so it can be recalibrated till it's balanced
or if it really needs to be 4v1,
go by total hours.

man the 7000 hour guy put up like the best raid defense i have seen that was incredible he was everywhere all the time killing people, trapping them inside, sealing them out, he was straight up incredible.

you should do a low hour builder with a high hour pvper and a high hour builder with a low hour pvper
I used to think that half walls should cost less, but not anymore. If they cost half as much let’s say, you could just use half walls for your entire base, that would decrease the splash damage from rockets. Instead of being able to break into 2 floors at once, you’d only be able to go through 1.

I think there's a key thing missing from these videos. The loot rooms need to have boxes in them so it's obvious they're meant to be a loot room which helps the raiders figure out the design more than an empty room.

As 200hr's not knowing much about building stuff crazy yet most of the time as a solo i build some half ass looking bases seems to throw people off but doubtful. The only thing wrong these two did is yes they had an hour but they didn't focus on the main importance of their build it seem.

I really feel like you should give them 45 minutes of straight building 30 minutes of placing doors, turrets, compound walls etc. then 10 or so minuets for bag beds and lockers
I think you should give the builders an extra 10 minutes
One question can you use your ceelmats to craft a sheet door to fix a missing door?
It’d be cool to see them given one thing to finish after the timer ends cuz you gotta go to the other guy anyway
The explanation you gave for externals is like 15% correct. The main reason for externals is to make sure that if raider get your main tc they will not be able to seal.

I think you should give them longer build times. I have yet to see anyone build a good or finished defendable base.
This. This is the biggest problem with these videos. Raiders get more rockets than they need. They get a full hqm base and mats for a raid base. They out number the defenders. They get no downsides, and yet they continue to raid unfinished bases and these are supposed to be even...

Max I got a base I’d like to enter into this series. I can put it down in 30-45 mins how do I get a chance? It takes 80k metal but I can fit it into 50k metal easily and it’s a base that’s strictly for raid defense and PVP. It’s been a base I’ve strictly created and adapted over 4k hrs. I arguably think it’s the best duo-trio+ base

It should be a rule that they don’t rocket PvP a SOLO especially with low hours. Dude was defending with a single fire weapon while they using aks and rockets. This was lame fr

TC simply doesnt matter if you have outer TC's with over lapping build privledge. sure the TC has some loot in it, but if TC has all of your loot in it and not just what is needed for upkeep you're doing it wrong
You should do the reverse and see if hours matter raiding with different types of bases
give them more time next time its a shame that they didnt finish theire bases

Idea: You create a base, but then need to raid a equal hour player defending your base that you built.
You should do one with people under 100 hours
I usually take over their external and then build my raidbase there
using splitters with 31 power is more efficient than using branchers for every single turret

You should have a video where you get AloneinTokyo in a vid against a high hour builder
idea: get 2 builders and 2 rust pros. The builders have 1 hour to build. They then have to give a 2-5 min explanation of the strong/weak points of the base to the pros before getting raided

Sometimes hours doesent matter , what matters is what they did in the hours they actualy played
You should do a build swap. Where there are 3 builders one low hour one middle hour and one high hour. and every 30 minutes they switch over to the other base. and build it without knowing what they are building
externals- if you destroy the main tc the externals will overlaps and the people that doesnt have the authority on the externals cant build in the main base (seal the door and more when raiding)
I really think you should give the builders another 30 minutes
Video Idea: Get 2 players with relatively the same amount of hours but one hasn't played in like 1 year or something vs a player that only started this year
I thought externals were so the raiders can’t drop their own TC in your core once they take it.
