- Can 8 Rust players with over 10,000 total hours beat 2 Professional Rust players with 14,000 total hours? Today I challenge both teams with the mother of all unraidable bases, the cave system. I've found a triple cave on my private Rust server and I'll be giving them a 30 minute timer to construct the best cave base in Rust, let's see if Quantity can beat Quality!

The low hour team gives me the "mathematically unraidable base" vibe where the strength lies in not knowing where to raid but if raided perfectly then its cheaper than the high hour guys who have an overall stronger but more predictable design.
Yes but they didn’t use that much more and they had to raid 3 bases where they used 116 rockets on one base with the high hour players

Seeing squares into a cave made my eyes bleed and sent a shiver down my spine.
It's over one and an half year im not playing rust anymore but cave bases are still something i miss a lot.
Missing the old caves and wallstacking right after the experimental era too.

Video Idea: 💡
You release the raiders mid-building.
Simulating a real wipe where maybe you get early game raided and have to make due with what you have.
Would challenge builders to have early game defenses prepared.
And would challenge raiders to adapt the raid according to how progressed the base is. Maybe exploit weaknesses they find mid raid.
It kinda gave me the appearance the "low" hour players base was killing the raiders even without their turrets being on. Some times chaos is a better defense then knowing what you are doing. Just kidding nothing beats knowledge and a little thinking out side the box to bring the most experienced attacker to where you want then and make them its all their idea. A great video and a great job by both high and low hour teams of builders as well as the team of the raiders. Great job to all and thank you for your time in the making of this video. ONCE they destroyed 2 tc's in the low hour raid why did they not place a tc to pick up the windows and save the rockets? yet again a great insite to how differrant players play

i once made a cave base where i put turrets in the honeycomb (You could by Test generator for 10k cooked sulf) so i just added turrets in them all and it was only with half walls. but i did get fully raided

Great Job to the Low Hour guys.
The thing is even tho the they spent more rockets; an 8man would have more loot, so I would say it would be more profit spending more rockets on the 8man base.

30 min is absolutely not enough for this. cave bases have many twists and turns and foundations are complicated. Really think the full hour would have been worth it cause the foundations themselves can take like 20 min alone. it just started while i'm typing this and they said that immediately they can't do something and don't have time to figure it out
that the point of the challenge. if you give everyone enough time it becomes unraidable the point is to make it interesting 30mins and it still took over 100 rockets each base

I'd like to add that there are other people on the server that know I'm recording and stay out the way when I come on to record :)

Building a cave properly you will cost more to raid if you know what you’re doing. Do you want as much bunkers as possible. And boom has to be the hardest to get to as the tc. If done right it will cost 150rockets easy
