- Today I challenge 3 Rust Builders with greatly varying hours to build me the best base they can in 1 hour with unlimited materials, then I give a team of raiders with over 25,000 hours of Rust experience 30 minutes to raid them. Let's see how good these builders are at defending their base!
What is Rust? Rust is an INTENSE PVP multiplayer survival game that I've played for THOUSANDS of hours. I've gone on MASSIVE Solo adventures, clan wipes, HUGE raids and just about every experience under the Sun. It's a game that can have the most intense nail biting moments, or you can spend hours doing nothing interesting, The way the cookie crumbles can never be predicted and of course I save the absolute best bits for you guys. In a lot of your videos, the builders wind up crunched for time. I think I'd be interested in seeing more entries in this series where you put constraints on base size/position/materials, but allow the builders more time to really do their best work, just to showcase comparisons in design skill, more than execution skill.

@@neilsuri7905 I've seen him listen to some and I think the idea they posted is pretty good. You give them a lot of time but its a small base so they do the best they can with it, make it compact, and just the best base they can make and see how they do. I think a 4x4-5x5 at most would be pretty cool

@@ogcnlitfvmlhf i agree that the idea is good but every video i see someone say i think the builders need more time or you should let the builders have the time to finish the base or i think he should add a timer to the building/raiding for the audience and yet he never changes anything and it gets very aggrevating and makes it less enjoyable
The fact that no one ever finishes is kind of getting old. These comparisons are pretty meaningless if no one ever finishes their base. You really need to give them more time or allow them to correct non-building errors, like placing turrets and doors, when they're stocking their base with supplies and beds.

He argues in a real Wipe, Raiders won't let you finish your Base either.
And i understand for fairness sake you should give them the same time limit.
But if Literally Nobody ever gets to finish their Base it isnt a Player Error, but an Error in the System.
Give them like 15 Minutes more.

I love the videos but I think the builders need more time. like 1.5hrs. I know this might become a case of more time they will try to do more building, but it think the limited materials will curb this and keep it under control.
I would love to see something like 15 raiders against @aloneintokyo and give him 24 hours to make one of his crazy roof stacked hidden turrets bases that would be the best collab.

I want to see 1 10k hour raider vs 4 200-300 hour defenders
not a bad idea but there’s a difference between a 10k hour clan player and a player who has 10k hours playing solo examples being AIT vs Tonza is both have 10k+ hours but AIT is solo and tonza has lead some of the biggest/ best clans in rust in the bigger raids his individual skill is great but its way more specific to clans you would need someone like AIT to even have a chance since a 4v1 is still had no mater the hours if they just play safe and only peak when they rocket

I feel bad for the builders never having enough time to finish their designs. I think it’d be much more exciting to see raiders, raid a finished base so that defenders aren’t always struggling for time. I’m pretty sure the raiders would rather raid a fully finished base as it’s a good challenge for them and great content for us too.
fr bro and the creator is being toxic when ppl tells him and then he wants them to make a solo duo base against a team of 4 with 25k hr and the base designer are low hrs too
@@SoulD3mise I know he’s trying to showcase the difference between what players with a lot of hours/bearly any hours can do in a short time frame and against a fully equipped team. But it’s just not fun to watch, and in real circumstances it would never happen anyway. So why not just give them time to build and let the raiders, raid a fully built base. All he has to do is have base constrictions with size and materials all so it’s a fair raid for the raiders too. I think we’d much rather enjoy that and putting a 300hr player up against a 25k he team is just an inevitable fail.

love these vs vids btw, you should do this but with defending and completing monuments vs your high hour team. not only is it good content but it should be a good thing for the lower hour players because they can learn more about it if they dont know about the monuments you pick but it will also help them raise their pvp skills
Great video, Sir. All the defenders did a great job, I know no way would ave lasted as long as any of them did, so well done. Now the attacking forces did an outstanding job, you can tell they as a group have been playing together for some time. They work together like a well oiled machine. Next video like this you should offer extra build time in exchange for giving the raiders more explosives in my opinion. Like, keep the time limit and stick to it, but if someone needs up to 15 minutes extra to finish up then give it to them in exchange for something. OR, set a specific time limit for building structures and then after that point they can only work on turrets/electric. idk, i would've preferred seeing the guys finish their bases
Continuing to suggest that turret placement be part of the build timer, but turret wiring can be completed afterwards. It's becoming clear that no one can make a base in time regardless of hours played. Alternatively, the raid teams go in blind and don't get to case out the base prior to opening the raid base doors. As it stand the raiders have no factors that will affect them at the start.
In terms of a content suggestion, separate smaller raid teams are raiding the same base but they can't actively go for/camp the other raid's base.
It’s too common that the builders run out of time when trying to get doors/turrets down. You should make a certain period that they build the base itself, then another period where they add/wire electrical components, and finally another period that they add all their doors.
Because these comparisons aren’t very fair if the builders aren’t able to actually finish their bases, but the raiders will still get the large amount of rockets to raid them.
Other than that the content you’ve been making is very good and I’ve watched every video ever since I’ve found your Channel.

Perhaps future videos 1 hr build- 15 mins added extra for doors turrets but raiders get 20 extra rockets. Or the 15 minutes is just so they can get wiring done and turrets/shotgun traps done. So we get an hr of building and doors. Which I think would be much more entertaining

You should make it so that the other builders can try to counter the raiders when raiding as well; that would be way more realistic for a raid environment.
I don’t think people realize how skill and hours are related. The first 500-1000 is the real skill building stages where players are pretty well trained for most situations and combat. 2k+ hours is where you start finding very specific situations that most players wouldn’t have stumbled upon. The hours to skill is not a linear progression. It tapers off with the more hours you have.
Someone with 8,000 hours isn’t going to be 2x as good as someone with 4,000 hours. They might be only marginally better by a factor that is so small it wouldn’t show up unless in an extremely specific set of conditions.

you should make them build different types of bases, like for example a base with only wood and stone and they use bows and satchels to raid it
Add a counter raid team arm then with just DBS and meds I think it could definitely add more stress to the raiders

Ik that mepuq guy played with him b4 cracked at the game ;). One thing I would like to say bout the vids max is that If ppl can’t finish bases maybe make it so they don’t have to do electricity in the time limit so they can actually build and put doors instead and electricity is done with no time.
It is called intersecting fields of fire, and it is a very real thing outside of rust as well. :)
what i think would be really cool, would be if the builders formed a team together and defendet the bases together (i always like people having to get used to other peopl's bases)

you should make a much smaller hour raid team so its much more entertaining for us to watch, its realistically mad hard to have 300 hours and defend from a 4 man with 25k hours
Since recoil change, tech tree, safe zones and frankly building 4.0, the state of the game then and now are not comparable.
The way people play, especially the majority in large groups instead of solo or duo, and the current metas, make the game more accessible for new players and bricks.
Hours 2 years ago mattered way more than they do now.
Only beef I have with these videos.

I feel like the timer should be only about building (wall, etc.) and then the builder would be able to place all deployables like turrets and doors

The builders never have enough time let them go crazy I don’t really understand.. the raiders are experienced and they receive as much rockets as they need but builders never have a chance to finish base and prepare more properly.
In a normal wipe if you’ve been playing on there for a while you’d have everything prepared and ready to go especially if raiders have so many rockets to use, make it make sense a little more that’s all.
It's so frustrating not seeing bases finished when 5-10 more minutes would've let them put finishing touches
