Toxic relationships are very stressful.
Many girls, today are empty as my pocket 👛
Bruh, literally copied me 🤣
Nice list. My wife is toxic to me. Not left because I was blaming myself for our issues. Great way to become riddled with anxiety.
Love all of this, would just add to have a relationship with JESUS CHRIST ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for this list - it’s really easy to just go on about our regular day to day routines; but change is necessary!!!
Love this guy. I must discover his books. As a painter I really resonate with his thinking and I see my anxiety and struggles in my work, I want to give up all the time, but my curiosity and boredom keeps me coming back to the studio. I Also respect your work greatly Mr. Huberman.
This is explains soooo much about how my son’s anxiety is keeping him from “staying curious”. I am going to share this with him today! Thank you
I found Greene 14 years ago and to this day he’s still a f**in’ courageous genius.
Such a great video , I really like the different perspective. Not just taking the first easy answer to our anxiety just to try to relieve it. I agree the way we handle anxiety is very important.
I also like the phrase , “to dance with our anxiety” and work through it is so important.
The name of Robert’s book ….Someday.. is great and sounds hopeful. What a great perspective he has on turning a dead idea to an alive idea. Great video.
Great content. Many people seem to be just embracing anxiety and letting it control them, but you have more control over your mind than you know!
So one just need to goggins it !!
no matter what keep working through friction.
Friction is growth
incredible interview
Being raised farel I need to hear this, going thru so much right now having to step in and take care of the one who neglected me, I appreciate this more than you can know, I've been lost and anxious; my mind racing to fix a broken person (my mom)? and heal my trauma! 🙏 I'm doing TMS at Stanford with Greg Sahlem, and Brenden, a blessing to me, and it's working! I've quit what I've been numbing myself with my whole life! Not being numb anymore is hard! Im so anxious: I need to know how to work thru this! Thank YOU Andrew! Thank YOU Robert!
Wool socks to bed=best sleep quality you've had.,.,,,
Look up Wim Hof , his practices have been changing lives all around the planet including mine, wishing you strength and happiness for the future
If you haven't heard of Wim Hof and his practices you might want to look him up he has been changing lives all around the planet. Wishing future strength and happiness
Quitting what you’ve used to numb due to your childhood trauma is a huge step, however dealing with that true anxiety that you’ve “never” experienced due to numbing is fkn had. I believe this must be the step in the healing process.
@LlewellynWhittaker Definitely agree with you.
Thank you ever sooooo much. Love you guys.Thank you
Wow! Thank you!❤
Fantastic guest! Please invite him again :)
Anxiety could be viewed then as a creativity blocker per se? In my mindscape, I enjoy imagining it to be something akin to “mind engineering” where I attempt to address the classic evolutionary setting of threat:positive event ratio from 9:1 to something a bit more balanced/up to date (5:5 ? Yes I’d say… essential for not “running away with the faeries”!! Ha). I suppose again it could be training the mind to allow the potential of events/inferences to be expansive rather than retractive whether or not the I perceive them to be positive or negative. Just allow in order to be able to accept no matter what. CBT meets Que sera sera/Amor Fati… in a glass half full way. I do find myself quite funny, so no need to take any of this seriously! I appreciate all the great work Dr. Huberman! Including the NSDR, I’m practising it in moments. Sometimes just knowing I’m trying something beneficial for my body really helps and sometimes just acknowledging that I am does the trick. Thank you!! 🙏
Thanks for sharing this! 🙏🙏
Currently every morning around 1-2 hours before my time to wake up. I would start feeling morning anxiety. Increase in heart rate, chest tightness, stress and overwhelm. Which then leads to diarrhoea in the morning. This feeling goes away later on in the day. It’s hard to feel rested since my body goes on alert mode even before it’s my time to wake up. Probably due to high cortisol in the morning. What should I do about this so I can feel more rested when I sleep. Would love for some advice as I have been battling with this for a year.
As an artist, I can completely relate! Thank you to the both of you! Very well stated!
Process of refinement, definitely a key takeaway here.
Please make this book.
This dude looks like the poster boy for anxiety.
Lol right. Buddy looks like if you type Anxious in ChatGPT
Hahahahahaha dude so good!
His bank account and multiple books don't showcase that at all though. Doesn't add up
@@Photik I had a millionaire uncle who was borderline neurotic. Money and power/manipulation was him. Died of a heart attack in his 40's. But this dude, is 100 lbs of sweat and veins. Looking at him gives me anxiety lol
When I have anxiety I just want to sleep all day :(
What's the difference between anxiety and fear?
1:23. 👌
When a true anxiety attack hits creativity is out of the window.
Could this statement be less true of skills that are well-practiced outside of an anxious state? 🤔
Time for a podcast explaining the overwhelming testimonies regarding your erratic/disturbing personal life before it’s too late
OR
Grab your millions and run!!!
Good luck with that...
Rubbish. Explains why Hubes needed 6 women.
Step 1 of addressing anxiety : identify the underlying source of the issue. It can be transient (assignment/document due) or deeper (mother issues).
Otherwise you will just keep using Drugs/Alcohol/Women indefinitely. And end up doing a lot of damage to yourself and others. 🥂
If you wanna be the King you have to first believe and start acting like a king
anxiety - throw it out the windoOoW... out the windoOoOoW
SIR CAN YOU MAKE NIGHTFALL AND WETDREAMS SOLUTION PLEASE MAKE VIDEO ARE SEND ME A MESSAGE
🙏
Maybe the title should be: "you NEED to channel your anxiety"
1:40 is the nod of someone hearing another talking absolute rubbish.
🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Misleading title for sure.
The guest was talking about being anxious, not having true anxiety. Anxiety is often being anxious about everything, not just a single event. Please dont write a book about something you don't even understand.
Several tools for anxiety:
1. Get the fk off social media
2. Stop watching porn
3. Go for a walk, by yourself
4. Work the fk out
5. Sit by yourself and breathe until you can handle your own company
6. Dont put your energy into 6 women 🤣🤣🤣
Sorry Hube, had to my man! Hope youre well, i still watch your shit. 👊🏾
Wool socks to bed=best sleep quality you've had.,.,,,,
Bro what are you trying to do
Seen the same comment on another video, another platform
@@TheMaliciousSmurfnote that this comment is being boosted by CZcams-top comment. Same thing in another video with another out-of-context dig.
I’m sorry but this didn’t seem like advice on how to manage anxiety. This is a guy saying that he doesn’t really manage it at all…his wife will tell you he is a b*#+h to deal with until he settles down.
It wasn't helpfull at all :(
Lol!
Embrace Anxiety
Agreed 😂
How old are you?
Bro it takes time 😂
Man huberman is having an off day. I feel like this episode was trash which is sad considering the guest he had
How to manage 6 women at once.
