Yeah I'm running that Rotel RMB 1585 & Rotel RB 1590 through my Pioneer receiver at the moment. I love both of these amps! My big Pioneer surround receiver will be given to my son as soon as I upgrade to the Marantz AV 8805. Great review!

@@vishaalgargi 😂you mean a simple avr can do the same job(amplification) as the rmb 1585 not even the biggest denon marantz and my yamaha 3080 comes even close to that beast,and those avrs have 2 *150watts per channel max for 9-11 channels,and rmb have 5 *200watts per channel,so i think you wrong here
To me, this is the Holy Grail of audio equipment. Now, I now there are lots of other brands out there and fans that are loyal to them. For me, Rotel is king. I had and an RMB-1075 and wish I never sold it. This combo that you show here must sound fantastic. Thank you so much for sharing. Now, I've got to sell my car so I can buy them both.

@@therealshanelee RSP. Must have mistyped. Just looking at the manual I noticed they have removed the bit saying when all set to large and no sub the LFE channel is routed to large speakers. My last unit was the RSP-1570 and this did that? Did you find the RSP-1576 to reroute the sub to all speakers set to large when sub was set to "no"?

Hey Shane so i couple of questions: when you compared the 1585 to the xpa11 it sounded like the main issue with the xpa 11 was the 65wpc. How did the emotiva handle your lcr though? Eventually i want to amplify 11ch, what im considering among other things are xpa7+4 or possibly a combination of 1585/1555 and one of their stereo amps. Do you have any experience with the rmb 1555 by the way. It's not as strong as the 1585, only 120wpc but should be enough for surrounds and heights I'm thinking. Appreciate you input :D

Nice job. I'm eyeballing the 1585 for my two Polk Legend l800's, and the SVS Ultra Towers and Ultra Center Channel. I'm pretty sure I'll stay with the 1585, but I'm still searching for the Pre Amp that I'll use, I also have an HSU 15H sub. I'm leaning Parasound, but the 1590mkll also is interesting.... It would be cool if you could review the outlaw audio model 976 processor maybe with one of the outlaw ampers. I know compared to the processors you use the outlaw audio model 976 is outdated. I do hear it has great sound quality and I only plan on running an RP klipsch 7.1 system. I’ve already bought the outlaw audio 7000x amp, Rp8000f’s, Rp600c,Rp600m’s and running off an old denon at the moment but want to upgrade to xlr seperates. I’ve yet to buy rear surrounds and a couple subs all in good time. I’m 4K invested in the last couple months and need to wait until maybe next Christmas to get the rest of the speakers.

In another persons video that marantz proccesor you review it gets hot (!) when working, I knew receivers did (except some really good ones like arcam 850 and rotel 1580), but a proccesor? Im using the same receiver, I've ran Rotel, Adcon, Integra. Did alot of research and tossed it around and decided to go with Anthem which ill have in a couple of days.

Very nice setup its a damn shame that Rotel is made in China. I remember back in the day it used to say on that sticker made in USA. I like the Marantz 8805 better. That's the one I own. What's your opinion on the emotiva equipment I see it around a lot just never heard it nobody has it from where I'm from.
FADETOBLACK Rotel was founded and has always operated out of Tokyo. They have been around for over 50 years. Still being ran by the same family. They have never built anything in America.
First thing get your ears checked, if all good, pick the system you want that's suits your taste and looks and feels and how it sounds based on what you experience at the demo, plus ask these important questions, cost, warranty and how is the system set up at the demo place, ie: speaker cables and if its linked optically or via other means like your normal RCA leads HDMI and what version is the HDMI, also your home the size of the room and what type of movies your into, like most new movies compared to older one even if released are not DTS or ATMOs or even 5.1 or 7.1 or 12.1 etc etc, so be very careful ask as much questions as you can based on what your home theater room is like, is it a dedicated home theater room, with sound proofing and how much room do you have and what type of seating is going to be used also get a pro installer to do the work with hi quality cables and speaker wires and always by with in your budget and always go mid rage and buy what you want to have to last, you can always update the TV/Projector and most all in one system good bands will give you what you want, if you can afford it, as in your talking around 10 to 15K just for the sound system + add a good 10K for speakers and then 10K for TV/Projector so around 50K if you can afford it, thats including set up for the room as well, dedicated leather seating for say 8 people raised rear seating etc. :) injoy people. :) Also do not be fooled in demo DVD's ,they are engineered to sound just right, DTS/ATMOS IMAX etc etc, if you can have the set up with a mic in the middle of the room and the system will automatically adjust settings based on the rooms layout, perfect, then adjust the speakers based on how you want to hear it, sound wise, like if you want more center channel voice sound for those love movies etc, action, well you want more effects etc. :)

I have a Denon 4500H with BIC FH6 LCRs. I plan on getting SVS Ultra bookshelfs and an Outlaw 7009x. I think it'll be a pretty good setup.

Yes it'll sound better with a high quality amp.

I think the 15 series amps are warm and so are the Cambridge Edge series.

Do you notice any diffrence from your old poweramp rmb-10xx against rmb-1585..?
It’s quieter and it’s got a fuller sound. Not as bright as the 10’s.

First thing get your ears checked, if all good, pick the system you want that's suits your taste and looks and feels and how it sounds based on what you experience at the demo, plus ask these important questions, cost, warranty and how is the system set up at the demo place, ie: speaker cables and if its linked optically or via other means like your normal RCA leads HDMI and what version is the HDMI, also your home the size of the room and what type of movies your into, like most new movies compared to older one even if released are not DTS or ATMOs or even 5.1 or 7.1 or 12.1 etc etc, so be very careful ask as much questions as you can based on what your home theater room is like, is it a dedicated home theater room, with sound proofing and how much room do you have and what type of seating is going to be used also get a pro installer to do the work with hi quality cables and speaker wires and always by with in your budget and always go mid rage and buy what you want to have to last, you can always update the TV/Projector and most all in one system good bands will give you what you want, if you can afford it, as in your talking around 10 to 15K just for the sound system + add a good 10K for speakers and then 10K for TV/Projector so around 50K if you can afford it, thats including set up for the room as well, dedicated leather seating for say 8 people raised rear seating etc. :) injoy people. :) Also do not be fooled in demo DVD's ,they are engineered to sound just right, DTS/ATMOS IMAX etc etc, if you can have the set up with a mic in the middle of the room and the system will automatically adjust settings based on the rooms layout, perfect, then adjust the speakers based on how you want to hear it, sound wise, like if you want more center channel voice sound for those love movies etc, action, well you want more effects etc. :)
