Rangers, the club, really only allowed wealthy people and Protestants into the club, where as Celtic allowed anyone in, Catholic, Protestant, Presbyterian or any other. Celtic's Irish roots have led to huge support in Ireland are they are practically just an Irish Club, doing the country proud.
