At first when i stepped out of the car and locked it i was sooo afraid it wont unlock, but it worked and everything was great. Great feature.

I insert the key knob and press the start button without press the brake pedal and let the lights go off in dash. then I press the brake pedal and press again the start button to start the engine..

    Here’s a couple of cool features of the key that owners with comfort access might not know about. If Your car is locked and you close your boot and accidentally leave the fob in there, the boot will automatically open instantly and the hazard lights will flash a few times too. Also if you have comfort access and you leave your fob in your pocket and just use the door handle to unlock the car and press the start button with the fob in your pocket, when you stop the car and get out, if you leave the fob in your pocket and just touch the recess in the door handle in front of the keyhole with your finger tip, the car will lock. I thought these were pretty cool features.

(BMw 1 series 118i E87) the problem musch fog inside the window on winter;/ its terrible it looks like the car cant handle it if weather is wet on the outside. Is it no atoher way to remove fo inside the windows this is soo big job too do;( it will be too expensive for me and cant do all by myeself fear to break something.
    pollen filter are good and egine filter is good but where is recirculation flaps on my car? or is it are more easy to replace. heater core on my car? flush heater core? and its good anitifreeze on my car and new heater motor;) the fans are likew new nor aircontion.And egine is cleaned and no bad smell on my air contion. And new termostat so maybe more less fog beause new termsotat and heat motor? So its dangerous too drive with bad heater core on the car?? So this can be the reason be car loose antifreeze before??

      Supermarket fuel is as good as any other..it comes from the same tanks in the refineries/storage depots as any branded fuel. If anything its better as the turnover of fuel is greater and therefore fresher! Fuel is supplied from the nearest refinery of storage depot. For example if you buy BP fuel in south Wales it is almost certain to be brewed by Valero who own the old Texaco refinery. If you buy Texaco fuel in Hampshire then its made by Shell in Fawley. How do I know? I spent many years an an Excise officer for HM Customs and Excise in Milford Haven

      Marian Osan - I had this problem with my E90 and it was a blown fuse under glove compartment that needed replaced. That's where I'd start. Check that first. The other problem I had was the boot would not close. I found that if you hold the button for the boot on the key fob for about 5 seconds or so. It resets it and the boot will then latch. You can insert the key and take it straight back out then start the car, saves starting the car twice.

    You don't have to turn engine on for the first time, just put the remote to ignition and unplug it; You can start car without key.

    But can you set it up to start anytime the key is in the car? This is useful under very rare circumstances. Being able to start all the time without inserting the key would be great.

    • @ZionistInfidel

      No. It just won't restart without the key being present if you happen to shut it off.

    Yes, emergency only. I see no point using this feature unless it's emergency. I don't even use this feature at all. I don't think repetitively start/stop is good for the starter all the time because you want to ______ for winter or summer.

    I used to do this to defrost my e90 on winter mornings without worrying about someone stealing my car on my driveway.

    • @MangoSpringroll
      @MangoSpringroll Před 3 lety

      so you crank it up during winter morning, shut it off, and crank it again because of defrosting?? that's pretty rough on the starter and battery.
