- We are very lucky to have the use of another of Vicky and Tom's sheds this spring to help with our increased numbers.
This will hopefully also help with the rising diesel costs we have been struggling with over the last year.
Not long till the lambs arrive now!!
Thanks for watching our sheep farming adventures,
Cammy

ABOUT ME
I’m 32 years old and I’m a sheep farmer from Ayrshire in South West Scotland, which is why I have such a strong accent! I was born and raised on a sheep farm watching my dad who was the shepherd.
At 18 I went away from farming to work in the city (something I still do) and at 23 (2013) I decided I wanted to do something for some extra money so I went on a sheep shearing course. The hardest thing I’ll ever do was learning to shear sheep. [shudders thinking about it]
I shore whilst on my holidays from work for 2 years and then in 2015 my dad died so I decided to get my own sheep so I could continue working with sheep as it was something I loved doing. From there it escalated quickly from my first 4 sheep in my mum’s garden to now running around 850 breeding ewes.
I shore over 19,000 sheep this season in the UK and have my own shearing run which lets you see many different farms in the summer months.
A few years ago I bought myself a sheep pregnancy scanner and have been building up my run since then.
I watched a few farm vlogs on CZcams and decided I could have a go and now here we are!
Thanks for watching my videos and please subscribe if you want to see more in future.
Jock is just so sweet. He’ll be talking away like his dad soon. Oh I see that others have been commenting that the little guy has been sick. Hope he’s better soon❤️❤️ Look at Angus. He’ll be another big boy before you know it. Lizzie is looking well.❤️👍
Yes my favourite time of year lambing, I can be having the worst day ever & watch one of Sandi or cammy videos & see baby lambs jumping around makes my day & puts a massive smile back on my face so thank you guy’s you all do such a wonderful job 😊😘😘
What a treat to see the rest of the family. The little guys are so handsome.
Angus is adorable ! Jock is growing way to fast. Fine family you and Lizzy have made .
please
By God Cammy, you've got these sheep well trained. They were even unwrapping the netting on the bale to save you the trouble. 🤣
So excited for lambing to begin. Hope Jock starts to feel better having a little one sick is the worse. Here's to good lambing from Alberta.
Well said. From Alberta too.🙂🐑💜
Love the new logo with the twins - very cute!
Can't wait to see the wee lambs😃🐑🐑
Hi Lizzy and baby Angus. Angus is adorable too🩵second time to see him . All the time good to see you too Lizzy.
It’s so wonderful that all of the farmers help each other , whether it’s cow or sheep!! Great comradely!! And baby Angus it too cute and Jock is getting to be such a handsome lad!!!
Thanks again for sharing your time and family with us. I do have to say Lizzy is a saint having to be patient with you and your calamity when you start something every time buddy every time absolutely hilarious but you make it work 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Sheep are a noisy bunch aren't they? They are just so cute! I love to watch Meg work in these videos. I have a Corgi so I love herding breeds and it is fun to see them in action doing what comes so naturally to them! My Corgi is 12 years old and has never got to use her skills herding, she's just a spoiled house dog! I cannot wait to see the babies. I love to see all of the different farming communities there in Scotland helping each other, doesn't matter if it cows, sheep, or straw! Hope the lambing goes well Cammy! Can't wait for the videos!

I love the 2 wee lambs with the braw sheep in the outro!
So excited it’s almost time for lambing ! I love seeing the arrival of the lambies that are blessings from God. Good to see your wee lambs that as cute as ever ! Hope the babe gets better soon and mom gets some rest.🥱
Cammie get ready and let the lambing begin 🐑🐑🛻😂
Lizzie, sotto voce: "Jock's the name. Sheep's the game". Warm laugh from me.
Looking good. 👍
I've never seen those round bale tongs before. I've only seen people using forks on a tractor or something. That cow operation looked like the cows were very well cared for. My uncle was dairy farmer and he would have loved all the fancy stuff they have now.
The sheep sure know what a bale is!
Jock u are absolutely so adorable 🩵
Great video Cammy looking forward to the lambing 👌
When you got that bale opened, and they got a sniff, they soon came over 😂
You are enjoying that new truck that gets you around very quickly☺️
Jock's snotty nose...hope he is ok now. The girls will enjoy the luxury of that shed when lambing, and it looks like a more ergonomic area for you to work in.
Best wishes to all the family.
👍👍 Jock and Angus are so adorable, suck a blend of you and Lizzy. Wishing you all good health❤️
I am excited for lambing.
Hello from the northwest United States! I could listen to you all day! Lambing season is so magical. Love seeing all the babies.
Busy busy time❤️
Your ewes are looking very well the extra shed will make life alot easier for you👍
Thanks Cammy very interesting video great to see Lizzy and the boys so darling all 3 of them …. Looking forward to lambing ❤
Angus looks JUST like Cammy!
A boy Cammy another good video 👍.
Shed looks tidy. Nice bed, new water supply & food in with them, happy days. Be class to see lambs playing in there. No doubt they'll be running through the feed trof & mixing up constantly 😂😂
What a bonus, not only Jock, but Angus as well!! Such an exciting time to watch the channel...lambing!!! Hope you have really good lambs and good ewes as well!!
Cowley Hill is finishing up lambing. Sandi’s group has started. Your’s are about to start… I must be living right ! 😂 Lambs, lambs, and more lambs for me. Glad Jock is better.
Wooo nice new shed! Nice looking coos as well! 😂 🐄
Oh wow Cammy….it’s beginning to look a lot like lambing time ❤️❤️❤️🇦🇺🏴
Great video as always cammy cant wait for lambing
Things are going to get busy! The ladies are getting ready to become Moms. 🎉
Marissa is a natural !!!!
Can't wait until lambing, last year's content was brilliant Cammy. Very hard work for you but great to watch the process and what goes into it. Wee Jock is a natural, definitely a farmer of the future. Big G Kilmarnock.
Caught this one over coffee this morning. Looking good as always!
Excellent video. Lots of work done, getting ready for us to enjoy beautiful babies running every where, you working yourself to a frazzled. But thanks for sharing the whole family today, those boys are really growing.
One more video closer to lambing system. Can’t wait to see what you all get up to. Hopefully Jock and Angus stay in good health. Kiddie colds are the worse.
Another great video 👍 can't wait for the daily lambing xxx
I am impressed you could move those haylage bales, they are heavy!
Anyone else remember The Bale Off Challenge? That’s the first time I found Cammie, and Sandy Brock, Tom Pemberton, Karol from Ewe Knit, and many other farmers I know check for videos!
Smooth Operator by Sade’? Really Cammy? Bahahahahahahahaha!
I love the smell of a dairy!
Hello babies and SUPERMOM Lizzy, they are beautiful and look happy and healthy. Well done!
Cracking video. Looks a lovely setup for the sheep
Like everyone else…..can’t wait…Labour Ward looking good and appreciated by the girls😂
Bring on the Lambs 🐑🇨🇦
Oh I'm crazy about sheep!!!!But honestly your accent keeps me watching!!😂
Cant wait for lambing. I know its your toughest time of year, but uts my favorite (of course, I dont have to do all the work). Best of luck! Love to see your little sons, and wife
Beautiful Jock and nicely spread straw. Ready👍
I think Jack looks more like you while Angus looks more like his mum. They are both beautiful wee boys! You have a really nice singing voice. Serenade us more, please! Do you find it confusing to switch from a right-hand-drive to a left-hand-drive?
I see young Angus is nothing like his big brother Jock. That is a good thing believe me.
???
Some singer you cammy😂😂
Cammy singing a Sade song... my life is complete. Lol
Also, I know it's not sheep, but the next farm or fair with Ayrshire cattle, can we have a better look? They are practically extinct in the US.
Been a second since I’ve checked in. Have missed you
In the US we call haylage- Balage because they are wrapped bales, our haylage comes out of the pit
What's in the water in your neck of the woods? You sure have a lot of good looking farmers nearby. Maybe a Scottish Farmer calendar will appear in your store next year!
Speaking just from my dads people, they can grow some big ones too! And very handsome. 😁
What in the world would someone need to fecking chastise you about? If they can do better, I want to see them do it, and put it all on CZcams so the world can criticize them. Great video Cammy and Merissa, can't wait till the next one.
Great video Cammy! The boys are precious! They grow up so fast. The sheep look great. Love the new wheels…just curious-did you say that Marisa can’t drive the truck? Is that not part of the Sheep Game employee training program?😂So excited for lambing. 🎉❤When are the girls due?
Cammy love the channel. Is lambing outside and bringing in the troublesome ones and maybe the triplets not an option? It would save you so much time money and probably healthier.
Good luck lambingthime mine is starting 8 april..
👍👍
I thought tom was Russell crowe 😂
😁😁😏
Looks like some of the girls are going to feed themselves or try to hitch a ride to another spot! 😂
Are the white double tags non eater the new o es that Lizzy pick to add to your flock.
Boy's and their toys
So are all the blue and orange spots on the sheep's backs crayon marks from the ram, so you can identify the sire?
Why are some sheared and some long wooled
🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑😍👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Jock looks like Lizzie
What's your favorite sheep meat cuts and breeds you like to eat? So many types. They must have different qualities of meat.
how long do you keep your sheep, before a sale
Sorry for skipping the Ads Cammie but YT is putting 2:30 - 8 minute ones up and I don't have the patience. It's not just your channel, it's everyone. I'll stick it out if it's under 2 minutes cause I know every little bit adds up for you.
Is Marisa just a farm hand ?
The cfmoto mini ute has the steering wheel on the left hand side?!
Yeah their big market is the US and China.
How close is this to home?
How far from sheep field to shed ??
👋🏻🤠🐑🇹🇷
Good day Cammie!
What are eaters? You talk about feeding ewes in this video so I’m guessing you mean that some ewes have been eating supplemental grain and others haven’t?
And they’re all mixed up in the same pen because you brought them in from different fields?
These are just the triplets and singles, correct? Had you already sorted them into different fields before bringing them in?
Than you!
The non eaters are ones that are not interested in the extra feed he is putting out for them ❤
@@karnsimpp
So he’s been going out, watching to see who likes extra feed and then clipping an extra white tag into their ears?
@@alisoncummins2726 no the 2 white tags are ewes he bought from a different farmer at a sale end of last year
@@karnsimpp Didn’t he say they were the non-eaters that he wasn’t putting into the shed with the others?
@@karnsimpp
How does he know which are the eaters then?
Sorry to ask but who is Melissa? Think I missed her introduction x
Why'd you cut it we wanted to see you bring them in well least I did I got all excited I was going to see the dog down there I'm up and you bring them in dammit skipped over it
Why dont you shave your sheep before lambing? You can hol d almost twice as mutch in the barn and the lambs born are being stronger.. the sheep eat almost twice as mutch thow..
I used to winter shear my sheep but they had long enough in the shed to grow an inch of wool before turnout. Good to oversee condition and more room but I live much further south.
You are suppose to clean it before putting straw down, lazy farmer!
How could I clean it Eileen? It’s a dirt floor? There has never been livestock in this shed so not many bugs to worry about.
@@TheSheepGame my shed had a dirt floor with lime and gravel on top with a concrete centre aisle. The floor drained well leaving the bedding dry. It worked very well and of course the shed got a good long rest from livestock between lambings giving time for bugs to die.
@@TheSheepGame The B is silent.
Great set up
Surely you strip the floor of muck first! What am I not understanding?
Well as always…you had me at “girls “ 🤦♀️😂🤍. So excited for lambs. And as the saying goes nothing worthwhile is ever easy but this year you are making it look much easier Cammy.
Edit: I forgot, Our friends at @Ewetopia Farms will have their shearer in on this Friday’s vlog so you won’t miss it if you have time 🤍🤍🤍
