Echo auto installed in a Skoda Rapid. No blue tooth Radio, used the AUX lead supplied with the Echo Auto. Plug in the Echo Auto wait 1 minute then turn on the amazon echo app. Filmed Sunday 11th October 2020.
I have only made a few Alexa calls, they seemed ok even when I was over the other side of the room I was still heard loud and clear. One call was a bit echoey though.
Thanks for this demo. I have been considering getting one as a gift for my mum. Can I ask if the sound outputs via your car speakers or is it the Alexa? Thanks
I have couple of questions. 1: The reason I do not like to play music from my phone in my car, the notification really bothers me. So I use a secondary phone for music. What happens when SMS/Message comes? I believe Alexa bothers you by telling you about it. 2: it depends on WiFi or connects via Bluetooth to my phone? 3: can it work without phone if I have WiFi in my car? 4: what about phone calls from either Bluetooth or AUX?
If a message comes in I say Alexa read message. If a call comes in I say Alexa answer call and the call comes through my car speakers. After all that I say Alexa resume Amazon music. Happy days.
@@WelcomeFM many thanks for the response. But does the phone bothers you with notification sound while playing music? That is what I do not like while driving.
@@OmiAzad yes it does beep when driving. Can be stopped if turning off notifications or putting phone in silent mode. It doesn’t bother me because the notification sound is just a quick beep.
You know you had Alexa your car looks like a line like this you know Alexa is your favorite and you and you know you can drive with Alexa

Could I ask if this is good for phone calls. Can they hear you ok and does there voice through the speaker interfere and they hear themselfs.

It’s always handy to know what day and year it is
I’m a time traveler so the echo auto is a must when I arrive in a different year.
