I know it is a narrow shot this year but I look forward to the Reds and Yankees returning to the world series in 2025 or the next several. There is a lot of young talent on the offense. Reds need some help on pitching.
Their pitching hasn’t been the problem. Inconsistent hitting, errors and bone-headed decisions in the field and on the bases has been their downfall.

Yankees starting pitchers are under a lot of pressure, the opposing team is able to get an early lead which has a direct impact on the batters as well. By the way, whether it is the pitchers or the batters, the situation is quite bad on both sides

Reds pitchers wwre better and had slick defense. Their closer Alexis Diaz is the brother of Edwin. That first pitch swing in the bottom of the 9th was 🙄. We will get them in the next game. The SP has been spotty at best. They need that All Star break.
