- In Today's video we'll be playing Skyrim, but everytime I take damage - I will drop gold... or more realistically - I bleed gold. Whether its damage taken from a bandit, a fire breathing dragon or just a mudcrab - each hit will drop gold thats tied to my characters level and deathcount - resulting in things getting quite hard, quite fast.
I always love revisiting Skyrim and this challenge run gave me a different way to play the game which was fun... ALSO I played on Survival difficulty - which makes things just that little bit more harder (no fast traveling).

love how he calls Skyrim seasonal since everyone who replays the game gets addicted to it again for a season
Average skyrim experience:
- Install game
- Spend 10 hours installing mods
- Fix load order for another 4 hours so game launches and doesn't immediately crash to desktop
- Play for 1 hour
- Quit and repeat in 4 months.
Skyrim, Vampire the Masquerade and Metal Gear V, every time someone talks about those im forced to play them again

I just tried Skyrim VR for the first time since I got a VR headset recently, and it ignited a flame to revisit Skyrim and now I'm the furthest I've ever gotten yet with no sign of stopping . Can confirm, after owning it since like 2018 ish, finally I got invested
It really is a fall/winter game though. It really just feels right, the weather puts you in the mood.

I love how, instead of making his money his health, he basically just gave himself a second, shittier healthbar in addition to the normal one.
Yea, I was expecting the gold to replace the healthbar and a point of damage would cost 1 gold.
Then he just has thousands of hp and its not really a challenge??
@@sinkpissersupreme It could be since you wouldn't be able to heal and it could alleviate the problem that ongoing effects end up being lethal in a second. If it seems that it's too easy you could do the same as with this one and increase the amount of gold per hit point drained. I'm just saying that I expected something like that.
@@backonlazer791 He even brings up how continual damage ticks from magic completely drain him of gold nearly instantly, and this just seems like a self-inflicted problem based on the premise of all "hits" being equal, regardless of actual damage dealt.
@@sinkpissersupreme wym lmao, his gold loss increases on lvl, so even if he just uses gold as health he would still die a lot, not as much but still a lot

skyrim achievements when?
Pro tip: the lesser ward can completely shut out a dragon's breath attack at every level and any difficulty. If you do nothing for leveling magicka, it's good for one breath and you probably won't be able to recharge enough for any more in the same fight. Obviously, if you're a mage, you can just totally no-sale dragon's breath all day.
As properly leveled and equipped mage you can turn dragon fights into a literal "this is fine" situation.

Unfortunately, most people don't like playing straght mages. Too much effort to make them good. *shrug*

@@Mohawk_Productions by simply raising a lesser ward. If you have a large pool of magicka and/or decent magicka regen, then you should have zero problems holding a lesser ward against each and every breath attack in a fight with a dragon.

To me it really seems inspired by J1mmy, a runescape content creator, also worth checking even if you dont play, and also someome who i think inspired and got inspired by alot of these challenge run creators like joov, jabo, backlogs, and so on.

The necromancer in Meridia's temple usually takes several lives even when I'm using op mods. His attacks are really wide-range and deal shit-tons of damage.

You should try to beat skyrim with the throwable spiders you can get in solstheim. I can't remember the exact location, but they are in some cave somewhere. Very fun to use items.

Really only specific ice spells should cause you to bleed. Like ice spike.
Getting hit with fire or electricity shouldn't cause bleeding, and excessive cold causes blood to coagulate, which actually happened to plenty of soldiers during the Korean War as stated by a veteran who was a medic at the time.

Considering crimes are tracked per hold, you could go to a different part of Skyrim, get money there by whatever means, and then head back to pay the fine.
I think he predicted the run lost most of the fun element after poaying it for 20hours and wanted a legitimate reason to end it

For future challenges, you don't have to run through town after you transform into the werewolf you can just safely wait at the spot until the timer runs down and it still will take you out of the town to the silver hand spot immediately after :)
