Fallout 4 But EVERYTHING Is Legendary

- Fallout 4 brought one of the best system's to the Fallout franchise, that being the dynamic Legendary system, which can spawn in Legendary enemies randomly across the wasteland past level 6. Well. Today I set everything to Legendary, every enemy, NPC and docile animal. Lets see how long I can survive on Perma-death Survival.

yknow, that cavaliers rolling pin actually is pretty handy. just swap to it while you sprint away from an enemy for a free +15% damage reduction.
im just trying to figure out why that can even spawn
i thought that cavalier was an armor only legendary effect?
Just got that on my current mele build in survival, man that rolling pin slaps
Honestly of all the radiated monsters and abominations in Fallout legendary Radroaches are the scariest imo. Something about a cockroach the size of a dog freaks me out way more than a giant death lizard.
As a FO4 addict, how have I not found your channel before? Excited to binge a ton of your stuff.
I got insanely lucky with a legendary drop. It was a Wounding double barrel shotgun. For those who don't know that perk does additional 25 bleed damage.
That's like 300dps combined with all the armour ignoring perks then you would be unstoppable
Wounding is probably the best effect, because not only do no enemies in the game have a resistance to the bleed effect, but its also the only damage over time effect that stacks on itself, so the more rounds you put in an enemy, the faster their health drains away.
Also applies to each individual pellet from the shotgun burst making a wounding combat shotgun an ABSOLUTE MONSTER
LOL I'm sitting here screaming "Use VATS' every time you shoot and miss.

Funny thing is if you somehow get a fatman with the never ending legendary modification you can launch mini nukes so fast that your screen can go black for a few seconds. The reason why you can shoot this fast is because you’re never really supposed to get a never ending fatman so there’s no real restriction to how fast mini nukes can be launched. This would just be very hard to keep stocked up on mini nukes due to the fact that they are pretty expensive to buy when a vendor is selling some and because there’s not many mini nukes that you can just find laying around in the wasteland so yeah…

Now this is a challenge, great job on this idea, man I love your videos!
I did a challenge a few years back that I called Absolutely Nothing but Bottlecaps & Quest Items, it was on very easy but it was pretty damn tough, I'm currently doing the same challenge on survival just adding food & antibiotics, but the very easy run I thought was very unique because you use no weapons, even unarmed weapons, so fists only, no armor or clothing, all underwear, lol, no items of course but bottlecaps & quest items, bottlecaps were used to heal character if needed and get rid of radiation, no unlocking perks, and no putting points into special, just the first 21 that you create your character with, I didn't even allow myself to pick up the book in sanctuary, lol. You should try it one day when your just playing around on Fallout 4 and let me know what you think, do any difficulty you want, sorry for the long comment.
Interesting idea!

Deadeye combat shotgun is so good, basically gives you the jet effect as you aim down the sights for a couple of seconds.
I know it sounds cheesy but seeing this on a Friday night brings a smile to my face. Keep It up please
I remember my first Legendary in FO4: radscorpion. That thing killed me so many times! I believe it dropped a legendary pipe pistol that sucked. But my first legendary shotgun was a double barrel explosive shotgun that took a few days for me to learn NOT to shoot it indoors or close to my target.
My favorite is the wounding double barrel bc each pellet does a added 25 damage on top of its normal damage one carried me through a whole playthrough it was so much fun
I've quit video games for 7 months and you Jabo have got me wanting to go back just to play some Fallout!
Did you use mods to make all the enemies legendary?
Okay so I been doing digging around and I think he is doing 1 or all legendary mods + level 8 start. Like he is level 8 before even entering the vault through command. There doesn't seem to be a mod to get around the level 8+ requirement.
When i first started playing fallout 4 i got an automatic fire laser musket, i thought it was a weapon mod so i got very frustrated the next time i played when i couldnt find it.
That and it one of the most rarest weapons you can get, i mean the chance for one is so low you can win the lotto 3 or 4 times before finding one. So finding one here is ultra lucky, and avour to only good laser musket.
Really great stuff bro keep uploading
The auto musket and never ending double barrel shotgun are sooo rare
How did you make it so enemies spawned as legendary before level 8? I want to try this challenge but I feel as waiting till level 8 makes it a little annoying
It’s a mod, he usually uses custom mods
I might agree if the legendary enemy loot system wasn't so weighted towards individual pieces of armor, usually of a set weaker than your own. That is one of the biggest downsides to the relative scarcity of weapon types versus armor slots, you end up flooded with shit armor, and you basically never roll the good effects once you *do* pick up a weapon.
I prefer going after named weapons like in 3 and NV. That was the thing I hated most in 4. Every legendary drop I've ever gotten has been shit minus one on my last run that was basically identical to Kellogg's pistol and I got it very early. The only time it was useful
@@adamlucas2203yeah I've probably got almost as many hours in fallout 4 as this guy and I can count the number of good legendary weapons I've gotten on one hand. It's always either a decent effect on a terrible weapon or an awful effect on a decent weapon. Then I go online and see 300 trillion posts about people getting explosive miniguns or whatnot. Just feels like different games entirely

Very glad I discovered your channel!

Not sure if you're still looking but I found a mod called Literally Every Npc is Legendary that seems to work out the gate.
4 months later, on Nexus, Legendary Apocalypse is mod name
it upsets me on how you can be bad at fallout
I can’t believe you did this as a permadeath. That’s just pure pain.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen you actually beat fallout 4
I disagree. The appeal of these so called "legendary" enemies and their associated loot becomes stale after awhile thanks to their abundance. In New Vegas, while the legendary enemies themselves aren't offering you any worthwhile, the fact that they guard other pieces of valuable loot makes it enticing to fight them, like you get the Mercy after killing the legendary Deathclaw, while killing legendary Nightstalker net you several thousand caps, legion coins and NCR dollars, not to mention the 12.7mm smg
Legendaries the best part of fallout 4? Definitely disagree. Its the worst part for me. I liked weird sci fi weapons and tech. The magical stuff is a bit weird to me.
This video is amazing dude keep it up
i dont blame you for buying a pre-determined legendary. one can only see a lucky leather arm left so many times before going insane.
I actually didn't like the legendary system in fallout 4. It really took away the thrill of unique items and it also felt way too "video gamey". Like there's no lore reason as to why my bolt action rifle holds 10,000 rounds in a single clip but it does
I agree with your first point, they definitely should have made certain legendary effects off limits. With the infinite mag size though, I think that’s one of those things where gameplay came over lore, and I’d interpret it as non-canon. Which isn’t the worst thing, sometimes having fun is more important than the devs going out of their way to explain something small that shouldn’t be physically possible.
@@peanutbutter6720 I'd agree if Fallout wasn't a series that's primary intrigue is (or atleast was) in it's wordbuilding. Having a magic gun that never reloads directly conflicts with this worldbuilding and is just plain jarring when it has no explanation. That's also a major reason that a lot of old Fallout fans don't like Bethesda's take on the series, because they simplify the storytelling for mass appeal and break the world building for lukewarm gameplay. I'm not saying that it's a bad game though, it's just doesn't feel like it's Fallout
@@birdyisblue it’s not like a gun having a random effect is some massively immersion and lore breaking thing though. It’s just a random weapon mod to spice up gameplay. Fallout has always had small, random things just for fun.
@@peanutbutter6720 yeah but usually these things have some sort of explanation, even if it might be a stretch. Plus, they actually kind of already had an infinite mag gun before in the recharger rifles, and they were a cool mix of lore and gameplay. I wouldn't even mind it if was just something like the Wazer Wifle that was in the game, because that's a laser, so it makes much more sense that it can have infinite ammo.
You’re talking about world building and immersion and that “older Fallout fans dislike this” I’ve been playing Fallout since 2 came out and I’ve played one and I think what they did with those things was cool, it made the game fun instead of a grind fest, even now finding a piece of legendary loot is thrilling, who cares if it’s against “lore” or something, it’s a video game about shooting lasers with aliens and magic nuke flinging weapons like seriously
The legendary enemy system is dumb. It doesn't make any physiological sense. Why do raiders mutate into stronger forms of themselves as they take damage? That's biologically impossible. The loot is the most nonsensical part. Double-barreled shotguns that never need reloaded? That's ridiculous. The legendary enemy mechanic basically turned the game into a shoot-'em-up looter-shooter arcade game.
Its game
@@yuungmung Fallout as a franchise is built largely around it's world building so having a magic sawed-off shotgun with an portal leading directly into your pocket of shells is very jarring and conflicts with the main appeal of the game for many people. It's a feature that would feel much more at home in a game that's more focused on gameplay rather than story.
@@birdyisblue I think the fallout universe is wacky enough to allow it
@@yuungmung I disagree
