I've watched a lot of these types of videos by a number of different posters and with the majority being from third world countries. From what I've observed, it seems the worst littering occurs where there are roadside open air markets and high volumes motorcycle and motor scooter traffic. My guess is since there's no where to hold or store empty bottles or paper/plastic trash on bikes, it just gets tossed.

Since you are already removing litter and waste from blocking the drains, why can't you just bag it and dispose of it properly instead of throwing it to the side?
