As a 59 year old that started Skiing 5 years ago I am only just getting to grips with easy reds. I have had a few lessons but my god to tackle this level there is a lot more involved that keeping your weight forward and looking where you want to go not your feet! Loved it and will see if i can remember some of those tips in VT next week. Thank you and loved your talking to yourself on the way down. I do that as well :)
Great going learning to ski at 52 years of age. Just keep putting the kilometres under your skis and having lessons and soon the fun of skiing down the Swiss Wall can be yours as well. Have a great time in Val Thorens (not my favourite resort in Trois Valles but nice and high for April skiing).

i started skiing at age 46, I still take lessons at 52, and this is the most terrifying lesson I have ever seen.

I have been skiing in PdS for 27 years and you are right I have seen it worse (also seen it better though).
