She and Justin Gaethje are the same fighter. They are pure violence. Spectacular violence. Stunning one punch violence. But when the fight is over, they stop, and they never once try to injure their opponent or do anything more than is absolutely necessary. They are genuinely good people, in their soul. They aren't worried about the loss of money or loss of status, they just genuinely don't want to hurt their opponent more than necessary. Khabib is the same way. Now, on the other hand, Jeremy Stephens should be released by the UFC, he has injured 2 fighters with completely unnecessary strikes.

Trevor Wittman. Do you recall seeing the change that Justin Gaethje went through after his 2 UFC losses? His footwork and boxing improved so much, he looked like a Rocky III fighter from a Rocky movie. It's like he literally went and trained with Apollo Creed, and came back and knocked out the giant James Vick and ended Vick's career permanently. He hit Vick so hard, Vick never recovered. And did the same to Tony Ferguson. I've never seen anything so dramatic and so violent, as Justin Gaethje returning to go on a 5 knockout winning streak. Rose Namajunas has had the exact same level of improvement, and Kamaru Usman too, all under Trevor Wittman's guidance. Trevor is going to go down as the best coach in history. Because his fighters are THE MOST ENTERTAINING of all fighters in the UFC.

@@khimaros if you look at the slow mo replays of the KO, Zhang manages to get up after the kick but Roses punch to the back of Zhang's head seems to put her out as Rose was able to pin her and hit her with few Hammer fists with Zhang not defending at all, both hands on the floor

Hell, when you include The Bullet, I'd say that women's MMA is more exciting than men's (in large part). Much respect.

These moments are special in MMA. There’s just so many possibilities in a high level fight. The fighters that can get you so emotionally invested like Rose does-they become part of our lives. When she got slammed by JA I immediately turned the tv off, it was hard to watch and I watch some far worse shit lol. Her story has so many ups and downs, it’s a good movie.

For whatever reason, people forget how dominant she is. She's tied with Nunes for the most knockdowns in women's UFC history. Yet, nobody seems to think about her power.

I have a strong feeling especially with Khabib retiring as champ that either way she fulfilled her fighting dreams. Rose is really slick and slippery, but I think Wheili has an edge in both striking and grappling. Then again, Rose beat Joana twice and Joana gave Wheili the fight of the year. It will be a very good fight between the two.

Rose is great but Zhang is going to get a K.O.! This will.be her second title defense. Rose is trying to get another shot at Champion. I dnt see it happening. Zhang will close the distance and take the punches but will be too much for her.
Really really tough call. Joanna gave Weili all she could handle for sure, and thug beats Joanna every time. I know, mma math and all that, but I think it'll apply here.

Somehow people are just forgetting that Weili barely squeezed out a victory again Joanna, who doesn't hit very hard and who has zero offensive ground game. She has better cardio than Rose, but otherwise Rose is a significantly more dangerous opponent. Weili never had to worry at all about a take down when fighting Joanna. And Rose is a better, and considerably more creative striker than Joanna as well.

I think it'll be a really competitive fight if standing, and if it goes to the ground then I think rose will show a lot of holes in Weili game.
