How to make a bow out of netting | How to make a bow for your door - Christmas Door Bow - 2 Styles

Many of you asked "How do you make the Bow?" After watching my video on how to make a Christmas Door Bow (that I've made for people in Long Melford where my shop is). So I've quickly made a video explaining it! A tutorial on how to make 2 different styles of bow for your Christmas Door Bow Feature.
There are 2 styles shown in the tutorial
Style 1: 00:00 Minnie Mouse Style Bow (I made these for the village in 2019)
Style 2: 07:34 Rosette Style Bow (The style used for this year - 2021 in Long Melford)

I Don't stock the diamonte ribbon - you can purchase this from many people on ebay very cheaply.

Note: I'm no Bow expert haha I've just made these up myself - a mix from watching the very few tutorials out there on CZcams and experimenting myself for the best results. It's all for fun so I'm sharing this because people asked :)

ive made an organza and very dark pink almost red satin very trad bow, dont often like decorations for gift boxes ,ive learned again at 52 how to construct a bow from youtube,used cotton embroidery thread to hold the bow and tie the tails to the ears , tied with a bow, so i can reuse love that!

Sure can - I get it from Epra Fabrics - called 'dress netting' - but they only sell to shops wholesale only. It's the width you need Width: 60"/150 Cm....I've still got loads left on the bolt in my storeoom, As we didn't do many bows last year. Happy to sell you at cheap price if you want a fair amount. Is that a soft net fabric?

Soft as in soft to touch? I would say no if so. It’s like the feel of netting that your tangerines come in at Christmas time. It’s got some rigidity to it. But if it gets wet it will droop a bit after a while.
