I don't listen to the podcast, but it seems to me that both Alex and Sofia ruined a good thing. Their strength was in their partnership, and they let petty bullshit come between them.

I’m confused about the ghostwriting claim. I just don’t think that could be possible.... like imagine alex pulling out a script on a podcast with Miley Cyrus. How would she anticipate what was going to be said in an interview? Seems like a stretch to me. I think they were definitely right to renegotiate their contract but the fallout after was crappy on both sides.
I think Sofia was talking about the podcast before the fallout (single father era)
@@crosamond yeah, I’m just saying that it doesn’t seem likely that she needed a ghostwriter before and now she suddenly doesn’t. Maybe she had a list of topics she wanted to cover but a script seems like an exaggeration.
Definitely can see Alex having a ghost writer bc the girl couldn’t say anything else besides “that’s fucking beautiful” in the Miley interview. If it wasn’t for Miley carrying that podcast i would’ve clicked out first 10 minutes - it’s clear that solo dialogue is not her comfort zone lol, no shade, just being honest!

I ❤️ Sofia. I agree with what she said in her return episode - Alex did the editing but Sofia brought the entertainment (which shows clearly in the solo CHD episodes). They both deserved more than what they were getting, but Alex shouldn’t have been getting more than Sofia.
I would have to disagree with that. Editing is a really hard job and wether sofia is more creative or entertaining or not, doesn’t take away from the fact that Alex was spending a considerable amount of time editing
@@sophiet822 Sofia said in her podcast she brought the creativity/ideas for the show. For me, that’s equal to (if not more important than) editing... how was Alex gonna edit if there was no content for her to edit?
@@flossssssy I understand that but you can’t compare the effort that it takes to edit videos to having a natural ability of being creative and charismatic. That’s why big youtubers have editors, editing is a long process and it’s a paid position
