Yo bro, you won’t believe this but when installing my gear selector springs, the freagin mechanism I had to keep compressed cane apart. Thank god I figured out how to put it back together. It was a pain bro. Feels good with that crisp shift now.

@@559powerscape it definitely was a mission. The good part is, if I ever have to replace the springs again and if the whole thing comes undone, I know how to put it back together. My girlfriend actually helped me 🤣 definitely have to put a ring in that finger now lmao!

It helped, getting the Hybridracing cables make a world of a difference. My buddy has them on and oh man, no play at all. Expensive tho

Man do you have any tips for that bolt that was under the mount? I tried doing this job a few days ago but got stuck on that bolt bc I couldn’t break it loose. How did you get it out
lol oh yeah i hate that bolt....i suggest starting with that one first then remove the rest....when putting everything back. again start with that bolt first.....use a jack to lift the trans and get a better alignment when removing and installing
When you reinstalled the gear selector, did it matter how it’s reinserted? Jw because you had to use both hands to remove the pieces that were going to fling apart.
No it doesn't matter how its inserted. Your good as long as you dont let it fall apart 😅

While you were installing, did you leave the car in neutral or first gear?
Needs to be in Neutral
Do I need to lift the trans on a jack or is it not a big deal?
Yes you do to get that trans mount off....its the only way
Gotcha. Honestly do you think they are worth it? Seem like a bit of a hassle. I’m installing hr short shifter and already have acuity bushings
I like it, feels like it pops into gear better
How long did it take ypu to get the job done bro?
I rhink maybe about an hour and a half to 2 hours....its quite a bit of work

Hey after installing it won’t let me go into 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 6th gear for some reason
What did tou install the gear selector or the deten springs? Can you go into gear with the car off?
I installed both gear selector springs and Detent spring. When the car is off I can only go into 3rd, 4th and reverse
When I was changing the selector springs I had it in gear smh so when I installed the gear selector back it messed with the gearing. Idk if you have a fix for this problem
Did the gear selector come apart? Can you try shifting it from the transmission? Under the hood...see if it slips in the gears. I honestly dont know. When i did it everything came out fine and shifts like butter till this day. Sorry bud wish i was more help
@@559powerscape yep tried everything. Gear selector didn’t fall apart and I did everything right except leaving it in gear instead of neutral lol. Tried changing the gear under the hood and it goes into 3rd and 4th but not the other gears and it feels locked out. Np, thanks for the help tho!

Did you take off the Alen bolt from the front ?I show it at 7:30 if you don't take that out it ain't coming out
