the damage in WuWa looks small because it was base by hit not 1time. if you add that 467/285 chixia damage into one its a big damage.

ikr? I never liked genshin cause of it's visual and character designs. It's a little bit better at least in WuWa. Plus the combat seems to have more player agency compared to genshin and that's got me interested.

Using another weapon aside of the one equipped, we have Jiyan and Dark rover which probably means that there will be more characters having that.

Don't worry~ Kurogames Dev Listen. Probably sure will have bow user in the future who knows. I mean if anyone even wanna roll for it. I hate Bow Virtually and Reality. I preferred Guns and it would be cool if they add in rifle/shotgun/sniper aside from duel guns. They even have Sword+Spear in Wuwa, would be cool to see more of it for future patch like in PGR.
Why do we have to use bows when we have guns? And I don't like that at all

Wuthering Waves element insane
It's a thing of wonder when you put it side by side, the fact that you would most likely die if you do the prep work you normally do in Genshin but in WuWa while you're fighting a difficult boss.
But well, Genshin has it's charm too, I don't play it anymore but I appreciate it, I ended up checking on its story on YT since the gameplay was not my cup of tea.
I played genshin for a long time and then stopped and came back too. There has been some cool story stuff that’s come out. I like how you can play it and it basically plays out like a cool anime and everyone has their fav characters etc. the thing that brought me back recently was a little leak talking about the fatui. I’ve been wanting to see more about the third harbinger columbina since she’s such a mystery and a cool character. Apparently she’s going to become playable in early 5.0 (grain of salt). Anyway ya it’s a cool story and honestly one I keep coming back to. They have good writers for sure.

It's all about preference, white knights arguing that genshin combat is better even though it's just slow, swap, skill, repeat for eternity while WW combat is fast, engaging, adrenaline, it's fun to dodge, parry, and learn the enemy's moves. But in the end it's all just preference, I like this you like that, no problem. Those people dude..

yes he has a good combination. but I'm not interested because the character development is too childish which means the story won't be prioritized like genshin or ww. and there would be too much fan service. The world of building is interesting because it is quite diverse. This is my personal opinion, I don't like short or small characters. and the genshin characters are not too small but are still quite good and the best are the ww characters because they look mature and add flavor to the story

Now they're actually adding another endgame mode like HSR.
It is looking like they are taking Kuro and other like Hero, Manjuu, Net ease seriously.

The community initial perception of them not listening to there customers will not fade away.
They should have seen this and build strong foundation first.

The only thing that Wuthering could innovate in is in history because in everything else Genshin came first and it is quite noticeable that Wuthering is a clear reference to Genshin but with better graphics and new characters

The problem with WUWA isn’t the graphics or the characters or the weapons.. all that is fine. The problem is the fact it’s the kind of game that requires 6hours a day dedicated to get stuff done and be good at. Someone must have said “genshin is too casual” and this game took that comment and swung WAY too hard the other way. There aren’t enough people who can devote the kinda time this game needs. It’s going to get a ton of initial hype but after 6-8 months this game will have a small player base, there’s no way it could sustain a large player base, too time intensive.
In fact, GI and WW have a congenital disease for Open World ARPG genre games.
In the beginning, GI had almost 2 million people online every day but now only 300-500k people are online. WW would be like that too so that's no excuse

I just recently saw a graphic for Genshin about these numbers I wish I saved it but ya basically you’re right about it initially having its highest number of players at immediate release. However… its player base hasn’t really suffered much on the long view, each major release sees a big bump and then steady ups and downs through the patches. It’s suffering comparatively to most games anyway. All games eventually come to an end. Even the almighty world of Warcraft is past its prime. What we see with Genshin player base isn’t nearly what we’ve seen with other games like I’m referring to. Look at ToF, that game was so awesome but it’s basically withered down to nothing. Its initial hype was huge. I literally had this exact convo when ToF was coming out and everyone was trashing Genshin and saying it’s time was over and that ToF was the “Genshin killer”. Now every other post people are saying that about WuWa but I just don’t see it happening. The level of difficulty in the game and seeing all the testers constantly wipe on trash mobs etc ya it’s challenging and that can be fun but the masses won’t be appealed by it. We will see 🤷♂️
Huh? I've had friends who've played the CBT and from what they said wuwa can also cater to casual players since the mobs from the overworld aren't as overwhelming as the ones in hologram, the hardest mobs are currently on holograms, they get faster and are added more move sets compared to their overworld counterparts, that's what the hardcore players are currently excited with, actual challenge. Daily's are also not very time consuming
