Heya, I know I’m probably missing a lot of things in this video, but I haven’t gathered enough information to make a super detailed video yet, I probably will do once I do. Regardless I hope this video somewhat helped you. As for the quality of the game/video, I am a self edited mobile content creator, I’m well aware that there are mobile contents creators out there with really good quality and such, however I don’t really have the time for that sadly. Point of the video is that I help you guys with how to build Jianxin, no matter the quality of the video, so I hope this video helped you (once again) and that you enjoyed it. I am in the last stages of the tutorial tower (19 stars currently)and also challenge lvl 4 holograms and I can absolutely assure you, that "skill" portion is pretty much required to even participate, because every single enemy completely oneshots you with a single mistake (healing is beyond useless in this game, except for triggering buffs) and they have billions of HP and a very short timer (2min for tower, 4min for holograms), so you need insane stats, weapons etc. to even beat the timer. So, please, get rid of that "skillbased" bla bla asap, because this is a true gacha and you need a big wallet or alot of time to even attempt the last stages of the endgame.
My first 5 star in GI was zhongli, Gepard in HSR and jianxin in WW….i have been blessed by the shield gods😂

I think the main reason why Jianxin is being overlooked is because of the amount of praises Verina gets (well deserved) but Jianxin is just more versatile. Some units in the game can one shot you and any amount of healing cant prevent that but shields can, Jianxin is just so comfortable to play and another plus is the vacuum, makes clearing stuff way faster. Was able to clear ToA easy bc of her. She is also hot
You already cleared the ToA?? Dam that might be a world record I only cleared the first 4 floors in the stable zone
To be honest it's just better to learn atk pattern to kill the enemy faster then charging her shield that needs like 3-5sec to get a durable shields

Dude i leveled up jianxin up and now her shields went from 5k to 3k, does her shields scale off defence? or is it hp?
She feels like a fighting game character with a very methodical gameplay loop which is awesome, I play a lot of 3rd action games with is very spam heavy, so the fighting style is a breath of fresh air

I like Jianxin for her resonance skill. If you're really bad at timing the counter, because you tunnel vision and mash the attack button like me, Jianxin is great; all you need to do is watch as the enemy starts their attack then hold the skill button. This creates a large counter window for the enemy's attack. It halts your DPS, but I prefer that over getting slapped in the face for half/all my HP. Of course, this is only once per 11 seconds, but it still gives a comfortable moment of defense when you're still learning enemy attacks.
I used the beginner, selecter, and free five star to get her 3 times. Her counter now has 2 charges.

The sad part is that didn't occur to me until later in the game. I guess I can keep rerolling until I get Jianxin on the 50 pull banner, but that would way too long. I got Calchaco on the 50 pull banner, and chose Jianxin for the voucher. I have her selected on the 80 pull banner as well. As for s2, I'm sure I'll get it eventually.

It's not about underrated or bad or anything. She rank at least A or S tier in every tier list.
It's just that, in a game with clear roles (dps, buffer, healer) a jack of all trade is just weird.
We got 3 slot so we put the best damage, the best buffer, and the best healer, that's it.
Unless you really wanna brute force and play her with no care for time or anything else, yeah just play her, same with every character.
Glad to see a creator spotlight the most underrated character in the game.
She was in my first initial 8 pull. Very first in the lineup. I took that as a sign she wanted me, so I didn't listen to the nay sayers online.
She is built to the best of my early game ability and for a 'jack of all trades master of none' she hasn't failed once to keep me alive and kill everything in sight.
I love her gameplay, design and ofc coming home the very first pull I ever made on a new gatcha game, she loves me and I love her.
And she will keep doing that for you, I don’t understand how she’s underrated when she has one of the best kit in the entire game. She has everything. And same goes for me. She’ll be in my team forever.

@@Snealeri dont think shes underrated. But the downside to be able to do everything means shes not great at anything. That being said i will use her as my main dps alongside Danjin, i just like her kit and design. Best design in the game imo, not only looks but her skills just sound satisfaying 😅

Its just an objective pov that she is inferior in term of DPS compared to other main DPS, support capability to other support. Tier list or guide are made for those who wants to breeze through the game, hence other characters are rated better. If you want to use her, good for you. Doesnt mean others hate her lmao

She is a great character when you want to turn off your brain in any content that isnt time gated, her shield is beefy enough for it, i can freely enjoy looking at my characters being ragdolled by boss grabs and not worry about them dying 😂( seriously, phase 2 roland grab is cool to look at.). The only reason she isn't talked about is because the end game is still a dps check (whether people accept it or not, its a fact) and being average at everything wont be desired for it.

I think people are mainly sleeping on jianxin and taoqi right now is because we aren't at endgame with strong enough builds to play hybrid to utilize their kit's damage where with verina you don't care and she gets full value out of her buffs that don't need to be leveled.
Get her off thr beginner banner and was going to re roll but gave her a shot and she is one of my favs. I picked up her resonance chain 1 from the selector

My first two teams are going to be Danjin, Mortefi and Verina. And the second team will be Jianxin, Mortefi and Verina, with the monk as main DPS cause shes fun af. Love her design and set 😊

She was my 1st 5 star and hasn't left my team since. Atm, I'm running Jiyan/Jianxin/Mortefi, and it's been so much fun. For when i want to play more defensive i main Jianxin and when i want to go all out offensive i main Jiyan. The versatility is great. Awesome video ✌️ thanks

Farm Chi and generate bubble then swap to Calcharo and throw everything out without having to worry too much about getting stunned out of his strings/combos since broadswords feel slightly clunky when it comes to parrying
Ofc it doesn’t hurt that she’s a waifu with a built in counter button

What some people don't seem to understand is that shields actually help to increase dps by preventing interrupts. The less you're interrupted by small attacks, the more you can mash your attack buttons with impunity.

I’ve heard people say the heal scales off of her attack. So safest bet would to throw on some attack gear and see if the heal gets bigger.

This was really helpful, i got her yesterday, and i love her shes so comfy to play, probably the most comfy character, there are a lot of characters and most of the kits are confusing to me, so a guide would be appreciated, On a different note, i love how the dmg in this game is fairly low, like compared to other games hitting 28384484948 dmg it hurts my head

Hey I'm pretty sure the counter attack mentioned in the 4 star craftable weapon means the attack you can perform after a perfect dodge, are you sure her counter mechanic also counts for that?
Yup! She even creates her own “counter attack” she’s quite easy to use and at the same time she isn’t haha.

she is alright for non-timed fights. In higher tower or boss projector fights you'll need a top tier dps teammate to compensate

How are jianxin mains doing a month into the game ? Ive been trying to use her in tower of adversity but cant seem to find her useful after stage 3.
Well obviously I don’t expect to clear the toa with her but excluding that for me it’s going really well.

I got lucky and got Jyan and his weapon, and 2 Jiaxin, and a Verina. I have only spent on lunar sub and pioner podcast lower route. I usually never get this lucky in a gacha game. I think my main team will be Rover, Verina and Jianxin, and my second team will be Jyan, Baizhi and Mortefi. I have heard you need 3 teams for late game content. Is that correct? I should probably work on a C team then....

i have a question...I really want her cuz she pretty much does a lot including exploration and grinding, but i wonder if you could get one tapped while trying to gain the shield. Do you a situtation in wich that could happen? (from your experience).
Nope!!! You actually gain some damage reduction (meaning you take less damage) while you are channeling your get her shield. This damage reduction stays until the full shield has been charged or the skill has been interrupted.
She takes 50% reduced damage while charging her shield! So technically it is possible to die but the attack would have to both break her newly applied shield AND fully deplete her hp with her extra armor.

I choose her as the 3rd 5 star I think I'm gonna make a team for her with Alto who can boost Aero damage on his outro. The 3rd slot could be for Mortefi

Definitely Verina! But since there isn’t a wide choice of 5 stars to pick from, she is doing fine just on her own. However the ideal Jianxin dps team is:

Verina
And Mortefi

Hello, i am exploring all i can with her, wanted her before pulling, failed to yangling but first multi on selection banner she came home.
the only thing i am missing to understand on her is: what's her scaling on the "passive" for shield and heal? do you know?

Hey people i want your opinion pls.
So in beginner convene i got 2 calcharo, (he is my main dps now)
I plan on pulling yinlin as well and make a team.
For free selector i plan on getting jinxin and verina.
I tried pulling for jiyan (love him) but still 67 wishes nothing, i do have his weapon tho that i gave to calcharo.
Should i keep pulling for jiyan or stop for yinlin.
TBH, i want both!
I can’t really predict what the RNG will give you, but they are both super strong. Just keep pulling for the one you are certain to enjoy more.
As for picking the 5 star, the usual team is something like:
Any dps
Jianxin
Any support (usually Verina)
But ultimately you can pick anyone since it’s a skill based game after all. You can also have 2 dps and Jianxin if you want!
@@Snealer makes sense. So I have decided to keep pulling jiyan, if he comes home I make jianxin subdps and if I lose, save guarantee for yinlin.

Yes! She can be used in any team or even just on her own! Ultimately pick whoever you think you’ll enjoy the most.

As a Jianxin main, I couldn’t agree more. However as a skilled based game, you can potentially main anyone and still being able to beat the game.

Hi..i need some help..i got her in 50pulls banner as my 1st 5*..she is not in my list as i hope to get Calcharo or The lion dance boy (LingYang) if i'm not mistaken..so should i go Verina/LingYang/Calcharo with free 5* ticket for smooth game experience?anyone can share some ideas?
Personally I reccomend to get verina, as shes one of the best buffer for now. Give her the 5p heal set and try to proc her swap skill. With this she can buffs you with huge atk buff for 15-20 sec and dmg deepen buff for 30s
But ofc if you really want calcharo or lingyang you can get them too
She is like Jean, good for everything but actually much better than Jean. I'm amazed with her Damage, a truly 5 star unit.😁

You “tune” them, it will be in the left side (for mobile atleast) of your screen, pretty sure it’s the third button

I don't know what ppl don't see in Jianxin. When I learned about her kit, I wasm immediately impressed. But the other videos I saw, they put her as average. They don't talk about how good her kit is. She isn't as hyped up as like Verina. Why is that? When you look at her kit, you can already imagine her soloing abyss like content. Not the fastest, or the highest DPS ceiling, but I feel like she is has the most optimized kit.

I agree. Although you need to absolutely understand that you will need much more effort to do the same content with her compared to other people with meta characters.
Like in Tower of Adversity, honestly her damage isn't that impressive but doable. You really need tight timing, positioning and more restart compared to other people to reach the same stars. Not everyone is Dark Souls/PGR master and misleading people that Jianxin is a "hidden" gem will further hurt unsuspecting newbie experiences.
This needs to be addresed first as yeah she's amazing on overworld content, but acknowledging her pros and cons first are the best way to make sure you enjoy the more grindy experience
-Know that you'll get less rewards than other people on ToA
-Know that you'll restart more than other people in ToA
-Know that you'll fight longer than most people in Hologram or any future hard content (important for busy people)
-Know that while parrying is easy on Jianxun, mastering the counter range, direction and timing requires way more time to learn, even more than most characters.
Before you go asking, yes I'm C2 Jianxin main. She is my only 5-star. Going all in on her as F2P, even selecting her on selector. I only have 7 characters including Rovers because of that, and I do not regret it.

I'm just generalizing things because Jianxin was like the "underdog" on our 5 standard characters from meta standpoint, so people can fall trap from CC or other people's that said "But, she's actually amazing" and build her with high expectations after seeing her soloing weekly/hologram with no hit, all parry, 1 hp, lvl 1 weapon type of content. The reverse psychology of "I actually underestimated this character" can be a trap on this character and this type of game
For example, before dendro release on GI, who would play Keqing over like Raiden or even Fischl with more damage and utility for team Abyss-wise, if you're not just like her design and playstyle. Does she lacks damage? Maybe. Does she feel amazing on overworld? Absolutely. Does she have a good design and actually fun to use? Hell yeah. Same case for Jianxin.
But numbers never lie and you'll have a slower progress than most people that use meta characters. As long as the timer exist, damage will always be the priority over survival in the end. Especially in this type of game where the boss always 1 shotting you later on.
So yeah sorry for the long rambling. Nice video actually, I learn something new watching this. Keep up the good work!

I wish the timer didn’t exist, then any character would be good, nonetheless you’re right about the higher dps being meta. Regardless of that though, I’m sure Jianxin will pull of a lot even in future content. Who knows what better gear (echo) might arrive for us.

@SunShoT as you use her. The bar above her health will build up. When its full, hold her basic atk button for as long as you can snd the sheild should form sfter around 5 seconds
She can technically solo the entire game just like the "best char in the game" danjin, the difference is just u need to be good at the game to use danjin while jianxin is comfy ungga bungga
Potentially she can yes, keep in mind that her attack scaling isn’t that higher, she isn’t a dps character, I am just making her a dps.

Only Echo with cost 4 can have CRIT Main Stat so if you're using 43311 combo you can only have one Crit Main Stat Echo.
If your character already have DMG Bonus buff from their talent, you can run 44111 Combo for more Crit Value.
