@@ayemjake it doesn’t, however if you use your skill at the same time you parry the enemy, then Jianxin’s damage is higher (as you are counter attacking)
Her greatest understated strenght is how clean and simple her animations are, it makes dodging enemy attacks so much easier when you're not in a whirlwind of fire and blades

@@Snealer quick question. Will my two 3s with Aero Damage % echoes stack or not? Or is it more profitable to go Aero% and ATK%?
Now this is a very good question! Yes it indeed does stack, however if you decided to go attack you will get a stronger shield/heal.
Going Aero damage % will give you way more damage, but going atk will give you some damage and stronger shield/heal. So it’s up to you!

Jianxin is severely underrated i got her on my first multi and was immediately in love with what she provides

Mortefi doesn't just increase damage, he specifically increase heavy atk damage with 2 additional hits instead of 1 hit for basic atks and resonance skills. So jianxin's passive being considered as a heavy atk mortefi is like made for her lol, he increases her damage by a huge amount compared to other characters. So the sequence is motefi liberation into switch to jianxin do jianxin liberation into her hold atk and see the bosses life disappear! I usually do this after i deplete the boss's toughness which is even easier with her since she has the auto counter skill, then right before he breaks i switch into mortefi do the ulti the switch back to jianxin and do the sequence mentioned above. Trust me she's so much fun and very much viable! And remember all of this can be even further increased with varena's buffs

"So jianxin's passive being considered as a heavy atk" is that confirmed? I cannot find it written anywhere and I don't have such echoes to test it if the Zhoutian Progress continuous damage and the explosion is Heavy or not. I know the trigger is heavy attack and the name is heavy attack, I don't get why they cannot state it written that it is a heavy attack damage :/

You have convinced me to get her from my ticket! I was gonna get either S2 calcharo or S1 verina, but i can always buy those. Ngl i didnt know much abt her but that kit looks delicious lol rly like that she can be both dps/sub dps and SHIELD!

My first 5 star and so far my favorite (I have Encore and Verina too), she really just does everything.
Love playing her and her gameplay kinda like fu hua azure empyrea (she my main in honkai impact3rd) .very underrated character in my opinion everyone just go for the meta character like verina instead😢
Currently running her with encore and Verina. Verina into Jianxin into Encore, and that pink devil SHREDS. Even tho I got Jiyan, he ain't putting up those numbers.
The best standart legendary IMHO, so lucky to get her from 1-st beginner banner. She is also pretty underrated character(
Using her on an attack setup with the robot monkey echo that drops the lightning balls on everything . When you drop that and go straight into her heavy and it’s literally about 13k damage aoe and it blows my mind every time. Like you showed you can just solo use her for so much content right now.

Something huge about her compared to limited characters is it is way easier to sequence 6 them. If you look at all her sequences especially the last one is it provides a ton of dmg. Also with cores in the shop that are less than limited characters cores she really can be a force to be reckoned with.

some small tips of her, when you're going her 4th basic atk you can hold it couting as heavy atk, meaning more damage.

I got very lucky and have Mortefi with maxed dupes. He really does go well with Jianxin. I use his ult and them swap to her to use her Forte because it's a heavy attack as far as I can tell so as she's standing there hitting everything and getting a shield he's ult is throwing out extra damage all over the place. It's disgusting damage, I'm practically immune to everything and then I get a shield and heals when it's done.

My only issue with her is the long animation on her charge shields, they said they will buff/rework her kit.. Aside from that she's fun to use and really makes exploration very safe

The great about jianxin is not only u can play her dps but u can play her as support with FULL ATK ECHOS no crit (for healing value and shield) and energy set + energy weapon or 5 star standard weapon because its ATK% weapon not crit 😂😊❤

thank you, i also tought of her being insanely powerfull but i think people just rank her low because she needs long field time to cast her shield and other dps would do better damage so you want more field time for them. Purely speculation, i havnt played the game yet because im waiting for my friend to play together :)

I was thining of going enerrgy recharge + aero dmg for the 3 cost echos so i can get her ult up more sacrificing some damage. This is because i think jianxin works better in burst windows where she can pop echo + ult + forte heavy and maybe switch out. It allows her to run as a sub dps if i want to later on

Got her on my 7th reroll and locked the account as her playstyle is very relaxing and she looks awesome.
I wanted her as main dps but then got dragon boy and 2 copy of his weapon, so I am kinda failing from success.
Third slot in party is still a big question, I am using the default healer atm but not sure on her, I know the tree kid is supposed to be the best healer but I am not a fan of her design...
i got the electro guy using the free ticket, i should've gotten her after pulling from the standard banner and realizing how much i like her kit

Got E1 Jianxin.. initially looking at tierlists, i was a bit disappointed but I still built her. Boy was I mistaken. She's so comfy and if we still buff her she would be broken op so it just makes sense that she has is not supposed to be the top DPS
Never trust the tier list… trust whatever character you enjoy the most!
In my opinion,
The tierlist is consider about Tower of Adversity which reset every 2 weeks and giving you Astrite (You need to clear fast >180s left). If you don't care about min max, playing Jianxin is very nice. Easy to play, chill and still clear the ToA for almost full score. Even full score if you invest a lot on her + on your sub dps.
The issue that they don't rate her high is not enough damage for the highest level in ToA to clear in the Time >180s left. And some enemies can kill you with 1-2-3 hits. So what is the point to play a low damage while still die in 3 hits instead of 1 or 2 hits. 😅
This game is like, you have to practice, learn the move of enemy, dodge it or parry it. Then of course, character that deal high damage will be rated higher than.

She is strong in this 1.0 cuz
1. Very fun and easy to play on map. Have fuking flat big shield + scale ATK, healing too, dealing AOE damage. Perfect!
2. we just touch the rear of the end game content (and I think cuz this is 1st patch so endgame content is weaker than future content). Imaging Enemy stronger than this patch then you impossible to kill in time with a low damage dps. :(

And, I still build her because in ToA, there is a tower that fight multiple enemies (lv70) instead of a boss. Therefore, why not building a AOE dps, also can be a shielding healing support in the future if she fall off in main dps role. Also her Outro skill is not good for any available character for now, but maybe in future, she can be a sub dps for a character who using Ultimate as the main damage source.

2. Sub dps (using Outro skill) for future limited banner has a main dps character who focusing on Ultimate.

Hey, fellow Jianxin main here. I wanted to inform you that I got the craftable gauntlets for her but the "counter attack" dmg increase only applies for the dodging and attacking afterwards. The Chi counter doesnt proc the damage increase as well as the healing.

I pulled jianxin on selector thinking beginner banner would take too long. I decided to do a ten pull on the character standard after mistaking it for the weapon banner and I am now a c1 jianxin enjoyer

No doubt that it took me a few days to get the pulls i need for her and i dont regret such thing. I could probably list alot of why but other people already covered that so, just gonna be a Jianxin enjoyer. However, i feel a bit down on her S6 (if thats the term like the Ranks for PGR), because i would like more aoe range a bit earlier on the ult, but there isnt much of an enormous mob fight so ill let this slide, although the ult camera angle after the animation i would like it to pan back to normal.

The only thing I wish they buff her for now, is 100 percent ignore CC on heavy attack (right now it's 50) so that she could be more comfortable using heavy attack on bosses.
Let's just ignore the useless ult (when bosses don't feel like getting close to u and just jump out or fly away). And useless heavy attack (same reason).
But the most stupid thing is how slow we channeling heavy attack, then get CC by bosses or get grab and take heavy damage, result in big DPS lost.

All her abilities including her shielding and healing actually scale with attack, so you can give her as much attack as possible!
It's always at 50% of her max HP at full bar depletion, early game focus on attk% and energy regen, there's a broadsword and a gauntlet character that scales off of DEF..not going to try an pronounce they're names, so Blue Hair hat guy and pink hair busty lass, there's my description of them

The 5star weapon gives soooo much attack that the crit rate weapon has little chance to keep up with that… unless you have a lot of crit damage. Basically the rules are the same as in Genshin:
#1: 1000 Attack and 100% crit rate and 100% crit damage equals to 2000 Attack without crit chance
#2: 1000 Attack and 100% crit chance and 200% crit damage equals to 3000 Attack with no crit chance.
So unless the character has an interaction with dealing crit, attack is as good as crit.
Jianxin is not a Eula, her damage is evenly split so no need to aim for nuke crit.

I’m playing with waifu only rule and novice banner was the jumpy lion boy :/ free selector was Jianxin and actually considering her for the 80 selector banner for constellation.
I set her as a main goal and I don’t want to rush her too much otherwise I might lose purpose to play the game, also she can come home anytime by pulling for others.. which is actually a bummer reason because I played Genshin for 3 years and my best standard banner 5star was c2 maybe c3 aside from my good girl targetpulled c6 Dehya 🫣😅

Tested the craftable gauntlets vs the marcato (both ER weapons at lvl 1 btw) and I dont think the passive of the counter damage buffs her skill "chi counter" damage BUT she can still bennefit from it since her HA ticks so much its just ridiculously easy to trigger counter attacks so its still a good choice

I was kinda hoping to find out what Jianxin's shields scale from in this video but it seems like no matter where I look, there is literally no info on what her shields scale from. The in-game descriptions only give us base number + percent number but not what the percent number is scaling off of. Would be nice to know so that I can build even BIGGER shields
It’s attack! All her abilities including her shield and heal scale of her attack! So you can put damage on her while getting better sustainability!

@@Snealer if you look into her constellation you will see that shes more of her resonance liberation dependent for her damage, im going all in her cons because shes a one man army, and planning to use Moonlit cloud sets on her and Mortefi which boost both of their energy recharge and gives each other extra attacks, mortefi is super good and he has perfect 5* star weapon on banner or simply reaching level 45. Mortefi and Jianxin best duo so far. Also, Using A summon Echo is better on Jianxin than Transform, I like the spearback (bear) one. Because A she needs to keep doing Attack and skills do keep gaining Chi, if u transform you wasting the time and gaining no Chi, 2nd While using Her Forte Skill(passive) u are immobile and cant move using a transform echo cancel her Forte skill. 2 the reason I like the bear 🐻 echo because the SpearBack Bear kinda pushes the enemy close to Her forte skill radius and doesn’t let enemy scape and the Bear Echo has almost same duration and Jianxin Forte (passive) skill.

I think the reason she is underrated is because her kit is weird, abnormal, and not straightforward. People like easy to use brain dead dps's. Especially when a game is new people have terrible foresight on what is good, or useful. I got her in my novice banner. Which is 1 of 2 5*s I wanted. The other being verina. Both are not solely dps. Cause I feel like a good main dps will come along eventually. Even better than what we have now. Having unique utility skills will always be, in any game, have longevity. Also, the game is heavily copied from genshin where shielding and anemo/grouping enemies is used on many teams.
