  • This is the final part of the series! In this video, I show you how to assemble a custom PC using the parts selected in part 2. We go over common mistakes and any specifics you should pay attention to when you're assembling and putting your PC together. While I focus on this workstation PC in this video, the same process is applicable for gaming or general office PCs. If you're curious about why I selected any parts of the parts in this build, see part 2 linked below!
Have you been waiting for the perfect system to build a NAS or software development workstation on a tight budget this season? Well, I've got you covered for a price to performance oriented PC, intended to run your favourite Linux distribution as a NAS, server, or workstation.
As you may know, I love diving into details and talking about this stuff, and as such, this video got rather long. This is part 3 of 3 for this series, the other 2 parts as well as the complete version will be linked here as I finish editing them! These have been filmed and I'm busy editing them now, hopefully I can upload them shortly! This video has been filmed in several parts and has been in the works for many months at this point. It's taken a while since I had almost 6 hours of footage for the complete video (times 4 cameras!)

I hope you enjoy the upcoming videos and enjoy the process or building your first workstation or server PC!
The intro (including the typos) is a reference to the first build guide I watched from LinusTechTips many years ago (back when they filmed in his garage). I want to give a shoutout to all the excellent science and technology channels across CZcams that got me started with computers. I wouldn't be where I am now without these videos!

Would be amazing to have a parts list and cost breakdown some time. Great series Tony! 😁👍🏻

You're totally right, not sure how I forgot to add that to the description... There is a 'list' in the end credits as well as the 2nd video essentially being a list, but I'll have to get back to you when I find my spreadsheet with all the parts and pricing.
