Rootless Orchid rescue | How I will try to rescue an orchid which has lost its roots

Hi everyone! In this videos I try to rescue an orchid which has lost most of its roots but still has large leaves. It doesn't have an outcome, so will keep you posted on whether it works out or not!

sphagnum moss is pretty helping to keep the base of the orchid moist but not wet , and helps to generate new roots.

Thank you for your comment! So actually after a month or so some roots did start growing and it seemed to look hopeful, but then it took a turn and in the end it didn't make it. But it was a fun experiment at the time, and there are other you tube channels who use similar methods.

@@sharon_852 thanks for letting me know. I have an orchid I am nursing through the same thing right now. Fingers crossed.
