In this video I walk through the Don Don Donki in Tseun Wan, which is in OP Mall above the Tseun Wan West MTR station. There are three entrances, here I go in via the pedestrian bridge which joins OP Mall and Nina Mall, and leave via the 2nd floor of OP Mall.

Thank you for your comment! So actually after a month or so some roots did start growing and it seemed to look hopeful, but then it took a turn and in the end it didn't make it. But it was a fun experiment at the time, and there are other you tube channels who use similar methods.

I have been working with orchids in water culture for a couple of yrs. I have 22 I'm working with, two of them are are currently blooming, many others are developing their next stems. One of them I still need to remove the old potting mix. Of the 22, someone gave me about 8-10 plants a few months ago - some that were healthy & others were struggling. I'm trying to get them all stabilized and thriving again.

I'm trying it too, but thought the water had to be higher than that, like three to five centimetres up from the bottom of the pot? It might be fine though, I have hoyas in LECA with barely any water and they're thriving.
sphagnum moss is pretty helping to keep the base of the orchid moist but not wet , and helps to generate new roots.
There are several orchids experts on CZcams. They have your answer.
