These dudes know what the fuck they're doing. They are advanced at what they do while drawing influences from two addictive genres: Pop, and Psychedelic. They enlighten themselves by smoking pot to not only intertwine Intelligent/Relatable lyrics but to think of catchy yet advanced melodies. Top that with my man crush on andrew and ben.. yeah i'm high.

Video starts out slow, and you hope it get's better, but it gradually does get better starting with Pieces of What. Then Of Moons,Birds,& Monsters..yeah! movement:) ENTERTAIN MGMT!! People came to see a show, not some guys playing instruments;) Love MGMT

I've got the same opinion. All times i've watched them, i've got the feeling that the band mix live is quite weird. Most of their live performances i saw in youtube had a really crappy sound mix (most of them Festivals).
But their TV performances are great. Take Lucifer Sam's PF Cover @ Jimmy Fellon and Flash Delirium @ SNL.
Just listen to "the handshake".
They rock not suck, therefore I can stand some wrong tones.
And by the way they even got more better live.
