- TM Krishna's penultimate piece of the evening was the beautifully delicate rendering of the Thyagaraja composition "Mohana Rama" in Raga Mohanam.
He was accompanied by RK Shriramkumar on violin, KV Prasad on mridangam and BS Purushotham on kanjira. Tanpuras and vocal support were provided by Krishna's disciples Vignesh Krishnamurthy, Vidhya Raghavan, Rithvik Raja and Vignesh Ishwar.
The carnatic style of singing is so dynamic... The composition itself is majestic.
What a music Ecstacy ,rendered by Sri T.M.Krishna ,quest to quench the Thirst of Carnatic music increased day by day and i started listening to this music by these Legend's.
Salutations to Sri T.M.Krishna garu. While hearing this keertana with closed eyes I can able to feel how Lord Shri Rama is happy to hear with smile .How fortunate are we .By hearing his melodious voice one can travel by light.
There was no Lord rama Or any God.. Just saying it's evolution of mankind , different cultures, different land etc
Sir ,What a great Singing Genius you are ,May God bless you more and give strength to quench the thirst of Music lovers with great songs .

Nothing to beat Kapali sung by him. This is not even comparable.
Don't get me wrong. I love tmks music. But this is a very ordinary rendition of the krithi. Also some how his voice is not the usual.. his taaraka seems a little out of shape.

@@krisn90 sir, I have respect for tnk. Being a very very ordinary student of carnatic music, I know his accomplishments. This particular rendition was bit disappointing. That's it. I am no where near him.
In north Indian music we call this raga bhoop or bhoopali.... In north Indian style musicians used to present the bhaav (feelings) in much better way.... A bit disappointed 😔
