The minimum of 1000 subscribers on CZcams is only for streaming using a phone. There is no such limit when streaming from a computer (OBS, Xplit, vMix, CZcams page, ...).

      Hi GUYS, fantastic VIDEO
      Just asking one thing:
If U don't have a lot of USB PORTS and I buy a switcher with remote control (with USB PORTS). I WILL PUT my cameras in that extension, so I just need in that case to create 1 scene in OBS, it's that correct?
      Kind regards

  • @STAYVTV

    Yo !
    Here somes tips :
1 - When you're choosing a webcam. Change the default preset from 1280x720 to 1920x1080 to get the maximum resolution from your C920 webcam.
2 - You don't need 1.000 subscribers to go live on CZcams (only from a smartphone)
3 - If you have multiple camera, use the auto scene switcher.
4 - Restream is a good tool however, I don't recommend it to beginners or if you have under 10K followers on each plateform. I'd rather focus on one plateform
    Good stream everyone

There is pro and cons for that. Live Streaming is an other game. People need to learn how to interact, advertise multi plateform can be overwhelming, there is some combo that might work as Facebook/CZcams or IG/Periscope(aka Twitter) or maybe Twitch/Mixcloud Live now (as you can earn money from subscribers to support you). I might be too much strategic x)

Nice tutorial! I also do this: I have a computer dedicated to streaming / recording. The laptop that I use for DJ'ing has an instance of OBS installed too, along with the NDI plugin. I'll discus how I use that. Computer 1 (laptop) has NDI setup to where I can capture what's being played, ie the waveforms from Rekordbox / Serato / etc. I send that out over NDI via my network over to the streaming PC (computer 2) which contains OBS and NDI, where NDI captures the output from the 1st computer. I resize and transform the NDI feed from computer 2 to where it shows nothing but the waveforms and track titles. Computer 2 then sums the inputs from the camera (will be cameraS in the future), the audio form the mixer which is fed into the mic/line input on the main computer, and the NDI, and then recorded. I say that OBS and the NDI plugin are brilliant pieces of software.

Not sure what NDI is but will google it now, might be cool to have the screen shot of Traktor as you suggest... mmm except will now need a sound card to input to second laptop :( .... more spending! Also all the streaming gear has become scarce online!

      @davidaguirre8204 Před 4 lety +1

I came to the comments section to see if someone else was at my situation and this sounds like it might be it! My Mac is making a louder sound than a Boeing 777 when I run rekordbox and OBS at the same time, so I will give this a try. My idea is: playing rekordbox on a Mac and streaming video and audio from a PC. Will this NDI plugin still work? If I understood correctly, NDI will take the audio from Mac and send it to my PC, is that right?

Good tutorial few tips for other users.
    1. Most mid-grade controllers OBS can use the audio card with no additional sound card needed. Ex: DDJ SR2, Mixars Primo both work flawlessly as I have tested this.
    2. Switch between multiple camera scenes automatically with “advanced scene switcher” plugin for OBS.
    3. Add green screen to super impose yourself with a background image.
    4. You don’t have to use audio input capture as your audio source you can actually just choose your audio device in Mic/Aux settings.
    5. For video DJ’s OBS can use your Serato Video/ME video output just choose “display capture” and crop your video screen into your live feed👍🏼

If you have an Android Phone. You can use it as a Webcam too by downloading this app called IP Webcam. Its free. When you have that setup. It gives you an IP Address. Then in OBS Studios on Sources add a source called VLC Video Source. In the VLC Video Source click on the + sign and then click on Add Path/URL. Then put in the info that that IP Webcam is giving you. Its a URL with an ip address on it. make sure you type in the entire address and then click ok. You should then be able to see the video from your phone's camera showing up on it.

I don't know if iOS has hit, but Android has the app OBS Remote, which lets you use your phone or tablet a touch-screen stream deck. It connects to your OBS software via your wifi and you get full control over your scenes, sources and mixer.
Might seem silly, since you already got that on the computer, but it's so much easier and quicker (and looks seamless from an audience perspective) when you can just hit a screen quickly to switch cam, than if you have to close the DJ software and poke around with the mouse or touchpad for a few seconds.
Plus, as a bonus, you won't take your focus off the DJ software, so it's way easier to keep the flow going.

I mean, collecting the sound from ZOOM and introducing it on/through the DJ Controller (I have a Pioneer DDJ-SB2 controlled with Virtual Dj) to listen to it on my speakers connected on the master output of the DJ controller (or on the PC speakers if the other is not an option) and sending the microphone connected on the DJ controller to ZOOM (to "talk" with the ZOOM participants while I am mixing). Question:
How is your overhead camera placed?
-Is it mounted over the ceiling?
-Or are you using a boom arm or extension bracket?

Do you recommend using the same computer to run Serato and OBS at the same time?

Do you remove the rca from the controller, then connect them to the interface'? Do need an extra set of rca to go from speakers back to the interface '?

Question: I figured out that you can get the audio settings through Traktor. Is the quality different through an external sound card compared through Traktor?

Eduardo Santos you will need a HDMI video capture card to connect the GoPros. The downside is that you’ll only have 1 input for the capture card unless you’re willing to spend over $200 for a dual HDMI input video capture card. You can always buy a HDMI switch which is cheaper but there’s a con. There’s about a 2-3 second delay when switching. Hit me up if you still need help.
