I have visited manikaran & kasol in this February 2023. I have seen the camp & hotels just beside the river Parvati. It is too dangerous when I see all the videos from Himachal. I am glad to hear that all the people are safe. Thank's to God.

I have been to Chalaal recently after 2015. Being Himachali i was very disheartened to see the garbage trails beside the river bank.even picked up some to dispose off but never found the site. and thought of never coming back here again.

The construction should be made little far beyond river bank.when you have built everything close to our river banks then it is inevitable. I live in Nadaun and there is no haphazard construction cis and trans Bias river bank therefore nothing happened due to very high water flow covering almost entire river bed.

Main reason of damages to hotels is due to encroachment of river land.I think there are many hotels which are not having proper permission from the government.
