Sir ji, salute your love for the hills. Would like to add my comments. Please use the power of RTI to get details of thr contract betwwen contractor and state government. Has he dumped excavated materials at the right place? Also, all affected people should raise compensation demands through legal route. We must make the government to take development projects more seriously. I was part of a team constructing cement plant for JP Associates in HP at BAGA and we have taken all precautions to protect the area, inclucding retaining walls, dumping excavated materials in approved areas only. We made a tunnel where road was not feasible. We do need development but cannot become killers of the inhabitants. Great work. Be the voice of the locals.

i am qualified civil engineer and geologist. Intensity of such disaster would be more severe and frequent due to anti environmental activity of humans. unplanned deforestation, excessive use of underground water and excessive use of natural resource is creating differential pressure in plates of Mother Earth. Mother nature is not responsible for such, basically our sins are come forward to our selfish generations.. if we all want to save our hills, everyone should come forward to implement the restricted and planned migration.

Khub pine trees lagne chahiye.. Small trees soil erosion ko nahi rokte. In jagah pe constructions poori tarah band honi chahiye
